"It went great. It turned out our chimney was ready to fall down, so he recommended a mason, who rebuilt the chimney over the weekend, then work could proceed with the roof. Roof replacement was pretty uneventful. Old roof debris started sliding off into the neighbors' yards, but they cleaned it up and the neighbors were happpy. They left our yard cleaner than they found it and gutters in better shape as well. It hasn't rained much since the new roof was installed, so can't report on that aspect yet, but everything else implied they knew what they were doing."

"Jay Moody Rocks! I had Jay Moody install 3 Mitsubishi split AC units in 2019. I had quotes from 3 other installers and their price was by far better than the rest. On the day of installation the owner helped me go online and submit for 2 rebates I was eligible for - it took all of 15 minutes - simply awesome (btw, I know multiple people that have split AC units installed and their installer never even mentioned rebates to them). Shortly after the installation there was a leak in one of my lines (stuff happens) and they came right out to troubleshoot and fix it at no charge. This year (2022) I noticed my system was not performing the way it should. As it turns out, the repair that was done back in 2019 still had a very slight leak. Now that it is repaired my system is working awesome! I sent the new owners the "detailed" history of my service since the initial installation explaining this was the same section of the line that leaked and was repaired on the initial installation. It was checked once since and because it was such a slight leak they were unable to verify it at that time. Without any pain or back and forth, the new owners made it right! Words can't express how surprised, appreciative, and satisfied I was - it's rare to find customer service like this these days! If you're in Northern Central Mass and Jay Moody services your city/town, I highly, highly, highly, recommend you give them a try - Jay Moody Rocks!"

"We asked Amaral Industries to bid on a cable rail system for our newly constructed front steps.  Eduardo came to our house and discussed the design, and mentioned a concern that a cable rail system might not be appropriate for our stairs and landing.  His main concern was that the sharp angles and corners of the landing, as well as the point where the landing and stairs meet, would not be appropriate for a cable system.  But he agreed to investigate further.  At that time, Eduardo took very detailed measurements of our steps so that he could accurately recreate the stairs back in his shop.  This would allow him to build the railings and be sure that they would fit the stairs perfectly. <br /> Eduardo got back to us promptly, confirming his concern and recommending that we build a steel railing system instead of the cable system.  He showed us detailed designs and gave us a fixed bid for all of the work, including installation and consultation with building inspectors, if necessary.  We agreed to proceed with the project, and paid him a deposit to begin the project. <br /> We were extremely happy with the whole process, as well as the finished installation.  Throughout the process Eduardo or someone in the shop kept us informed of their progress.  When the railings were complete and the galvanizing process was finished, he scheduled the installation within days. <br /> The installation at our home occurred today (9/2/15).  There were lots of details, including drilling holes in the steps and landing. Eduardo and his crew were very thorough, detailed, and neat in their work.  They kept the whole area clean, and were respectful of the landscaping surrounding the stairs and landing.  The holes drilled in our bluestone were very neat, and they did not scratch the surface of any of our steps or landing.  They protected other surfaces with cardboard to avoid any damage during installation. <br /> My wife and I are extremely happy with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future, or to recommend them to others. <br />"

"I highly recommend Marcellos Builders and Design without reservation. My garage had to be demolished and rebuilt on the same footprint. Marcello’s work was perfect from start to finish. Marcello was meticulous in making sure all the measurements were correct. He oversaw the building of the new foundation consistent with the current building codes for the City of Newton. His carpenters who did the framing are the very best out there...doing such excellent work without taking any breaks, and their pride in their finished work, my new garage, was wonderful to behold. The siding and the painting were also great..careful, meticulous, two coats of paint, all looking just great!! I should also add that Marcellos has a great sense of design. He was helpful in picking out the right size windows. I look forward to having Marcellos Design and Builders do more renovations to this wonderful 1890 Victorian home. He is delightful to work with and follows through on all aspects of the project at hand. I am so glad to have found such a great contractor! I highly recommend him and his company!"
