One, the initial consultation lasted 7 hours. Between discussions about the roof to the actual roof inspection. Second. The Forman on the job barely spoke English. There was a gap that had to be overcame for understanding my questions I had. Towards the end, he offered to call someone to translate but that, I felt, was too little to late. "From start to finish, they were no nonsense and professional. I really appreciated that they gave me options for different furnaces and compressors. You would think this was a given, but the other company I called just assumed that I wanted the least expensive unit. I'm usually a pick-the-middle-option kinda person 'cause I feel like you get a better bang for your buck without spending top dollar. Add onto that that their quote came in significantly lower ($10k vs $15k) with a better warranty (2 yrs vs 1 yr) and I decided to go with Green. I was not disappointed, as they showed up when they said they would, with an efficient crew that was willing to work around the schedule of my general contractor. The work is done and the system works and looks great. Also gotta say it's really nice that they installed a programmable thermostat instead of a cheap one. I know it's not a huge deal, but sometimes it's the little things that count!
