"First of all, one cannot expect a repair service company to know everything about all makes and models. I did some research on my own and could have spent $600 on parts alone along with the aggravation of the labor. Jim the Service Tech did the analysis and identified the faulty part pretty quickly. Parts were available in the truck and a replacement control board was installed within an hour or so. A fuse had blown on the old control board that kept it from operating. These fuses are soldered to the board. This could have just blown, or it could be from the door being closed too hard too often. We'll be careful from now on for sure! Note: The Techs at Home Systems cover their shoes when entering your home. I was surprised to notice that all tools, cases and parts etc.. were placed on padded mats on the floor to avoid scratches or scuffs. Even on my builder grade 15 year old vinyl floor. This detail was not needed on my old floor but appreciated! I didn't expect Jim to hang out for several hours to wait for a cycle to complete. The washer was filled with a few items then ran that evening. Minor issues occurred. Still not completing. Jim came back and checked his work. Please remember my opening sentence. More research had to be done and third visit was needed to add a part to the control board. After this, our three year old Kenmore dishwasher was happy! All in all we are very happy with Home Systems Appliance Repair. Aside from clean and careful, the Techs are professional and friendly. Issues are explained in understandable terms. The extra visits were no charge. I've been in a service position and appreciated the genuine desire to fix the issue as quickly as possible. Minor complications happen, but it was made right. "We recently needed our Bosch Dishwasher to undergo some serious repair work. Bad hoses, some new parts for the pump and it all had to be done with it removed from its little cubby hole under the kitchen counter. Replacing the 4-year-old dishwasher was not a financial option. This, low decibel, (40) model, sells in the vicinity of too much. $1400 plus. It is extremely quiet, very efficient, and appreciated, considering our family TV viewing area is basically in the same room, the Family Room being open to the Kitchen Area. I contacted three appliance services. Only one responded. Russel’s Appliance Service. In this case the “right” one. We set up an appointment, he was right on time. The estimate for repair, parts replacement and labor was exceptionally reasonable and well within the scope of practical. That was after nearly three labor hours to remove the unit. With a tremendous amount of efficiency, cautious and careful manipulation, and a couple of bushels of patience he was able to get the dishwasher out. The cabinet installers did not correctly attach it to the cabinets, and it was installed by the previous owners before the hardwood flooring was installed in the kitchen. Meaning it sat on the subfloor. Which made it quite a task to remove. Parts had to be ordered and two trips later Mr. Russell, again delving into those patience bushels, was able to make the necessary repairs and re-installed the dishwasher into its cubby hole…correctly. If you need service or repair work, dishwasher in our case, we would not hesitate to contact it needed for stove or refrigerator, you need to call Russel Appliance Service."

"Great experience. Harmond W diagnosed the issue within the first 10 minutes of our interactive video session. He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session.
