"They did a fine job with one exception. They were to include a self closing latch on the gate as it protects a spa, per the discussion during the quote. All other "spa" requirements were met. We've called California vinyl about it twice with their agreement this would be remedied....so far to no avail. As the work was performed on Aug 27th, and they've been paid, I know doubt that they will return to fix it. I would have give 5 stars in the rating, but this is not acceptable. One month later (today, 9/30) they finished the job by putting on the self-closing latch. I am perfectly satisfied now!"

"We met with Jeff in April after not connecting with other contractors the year before. Loved the idea of the larger patio roof with integrated rain gutters and the price was justified. Decided to replace the flagstone patio area and pool deck with pavers and then added on the front walkway as well. Replacing the sliding glass door had always been in the plan. Broke ground right before Memorial weekend, which is when we decided to add on an additional walkway, fake grass, and mow strip. No problem except the flagstone stepping stone walkway was removed prior to our go ahead (my husband had told Jeff he needed to talk to me first). Jeff uses different crews for different parts of projects: paver crew, patio cover crew, rain gutter crew, lawn crew, door installer/handyman at the end. All the foremen of these crews speak English so it was easy to communicate with them and they were very willing to accommodate changes and listen to ideas. The only hard part is that they just show up sometimes to do X, Y, or Z. It wasn't a huge problem but would have appreciated a quick text. The project took longer than expected as Jeff refused the first door sent to him for install because it was damaged (thank you) and then it was back ordered. Meanwhile, other parts of the project were getting done. Overall, it turned out great. My husband and I love it, our friends and family love it, and it has expanded our living space as well."

"Nice people, they claim to give a lifetime warranty including resealing seems or any problem at all. They showed up as scheduled, took a bit longer than expected. I was very happy with the way it looked when they were finished. Im still happy with the way it looks. After they left I noticed they had drilled a hole in my concrete walkway and pounded in rebar to mount a gate post but they didn’t plan it right and I believe they called the owner out who decided to put the post in a more suitable place. Unfortunately the cracked concrete with a flush cut piece off rusty rebar remains as an eyesore. After a month or two the gate post on the opposite side began pulling out of the stucco on the side of my garage. I took it apart to find they used cheep plastic anchors so i just went and replaced them with metal concrete anchors myself so its never coming out again. I figured despite the warranty id just get it done. Fast forward to present June 2019 and i noticed that 2 of the base plates of the fence are not fastened to the concrete on one end allowing them to swivel out of place when the neighbors gardener does yard work it pushes them out of place. I contacted Sonrise and was given a date two weeks away that they would show up but they could not give a time. Sounds stupid but fortunately I’m retired and can sit home all day waiting for them to show up because hey what else do i need to do right? never showed up. I emailed again and the Forman called and apologized said he’d be out the following Friday. Never called never showed up. I emailed again and its been a week and a half with no response. so much for that lifetime warranty. I am really happy with the way the fence looks but cutting corners on simple stuff has me a bit confused because when you say lifetime warranty to fix ANYTHING wrong. Well you’d expect no short cuts because then you’d have to come fix the problems ... Unless... you have no plans to fix anything at all. I don’t care to write a review like this but when you jerk a customer around then just ignore them what else is left to do?"
