"We arranged a day to have the work done.  Due to a rain storm, the
original day for the work to be done had to be moved on short notice. 
The communication about moving the day was via a phone call, text
message and email - which I thought was excellent. 
When the new appointment day came, the crew arrived 10 minutes early. 
Everyone introduced themselves, josh reviewed the work to be done with
me, and then with the crew.  After that the crew positioned the truck,
got out their gear and got right to work.  The trees are too big for
them to use a truck or ladders, so they used ropes to climb up into the
tree canopy (no spikes used) and started pruning and removing dead
branches.  They worked for 4 hours with no breaks, stopped for about an
hour at lunch time, then did another 2 hours.  After the trimming work,
there was a bunch of branches on the ground, which they put through
their chipper/shredder, raked up the area, and used a blower to finish. 
If you didn't know what had happened, you'd never have been able to
tell anything was previously on the lawn.
All in all - it was a quality experience.  Work was done right by a
professional crew.  Communication was excellent.  Price was fair and
reasonable.  I'd definitely be willing to hire them again."

"fMarcus had been referred to me by a friend who had used him when building his house. I spoke to him on the phone and we agreed on a time to meet at the job site for an estimate. Right from the beginning Marcus couldn't have been more patient, friendly, helpful and professional. We met on time and I showed him the four crumbling concrete steps in the rear of the building, the crumbling concrete stoop in the front of the building and the cinder block wall with cracks in it. There were also two loose pieces of irregular shaped slate at the base of the steps, which was a trip hazard. The steps were not all the same height, so Marcus recommended reducing the rise in the taller steps by adding concrete. He also excavated at the base of the steps, cut the slate into three perfect rectangles and cemented them in. No more tripping hazard and everything looks great! He was also able to repair and reinforce a crumbling concrete stoop in the front of the building after I had been told by other contractors that it had to be replaced. As he was working, Marcus would give me options and come up with better solutions, like strengthening the wall with short pieces of rebar. I would definitely hire Marcus again!

"Cleiton Masonry was extremely responsive. They responded almost immediately to our request for an estimate. They communicated very well by email and by telephone. The job was relatively small, involving a section of concrete floor in the basement. They broke up the old floor, removed the debris and laid a new floor. The workmanship was excellent and the staff was professional and attentive to detail. The finished product looks terrific. Cleiton Masonry also responded to some unexpected turns in the job, when some of the vent pipes in the area turned out to be corroded. They replaced the pipes at a very reasonable cost and the job concluded promptly. We would recommend Cleiton to anyone in the Westchester/NYC area looking for masonry contractors."
