"We shopped for providers on Angie's List and this one got very high marks, particularly the owner, Courtland Overholt.  We looked at other places and the prices for comparable shades were in some cases a little lower, but we were not interested in doing this project self-help, so the good reviews were important.  The visit to the store in Fairfax was fine.  The owner was not there at the time but the person minding the shop was friendly and helpful.  She gave us a preliminary estimate based on my measurements but made it clear that the final estimate would be done when Court came to the house and looked at the job.  He was out of town for the next week or so but came exactly when he said he would.  It took him less than an hour to do all the measurements, recommend a few changes from what we thought we wanted, and write up an estimate.  The price was close to the original estimate but he also helped us apply for a manufacturer's rebate worth several hundred dollars, and the suggestions he made improved both the appearance and functionality of the shades.  He said it would take about three weeks for them to come in, and they arrived on time.  We made an appointment for installation and he again arrived exactly on time.  He and an assistant installed all 13 windows in about an hour, and the installation was flawless.  We could not be happier with the results.  There is a lot to be said for dealing directly with an owner who runs his/her own business and takes pride in the work.  It might cost a little more, but there were no tricks, no surprises, and no schedule changes.  In short, Window Decor was the right choice and Court was a total pro.  If we need any more windows done, we will definitely use them again. <br />"

They also installed and painted toe molding across my 40-foot front porch. They were professional and pleasant throughout.
