"Carpet looks new again!  Daniel did a fabulous job moving furniture himself and stretching the carpet into place.  He also patched a small area by a threshold which our cat had damaged.  He and his cleaning crew were professional, punctual, quick, and reasonably priced.  They told me exactly what they would charge before performing the work, and they stuck with the price.  ($400 for stretching; $165 for cleaning)  Will definitely use the cleaning crew again, and would use for stretching if I need it for some reason.  Do yourself a favor and hire these guys! <br />"

"Justin arrive promptly on a Sunday, as we needed the work done immediately.  He removed the stained piece of carpet in a spare bedroom while another member of his team stretched out the wrinkle in the master bathroom carpet.  Everything was completed in less than 1 hour and their work was perfect, no mess left behind.  I would certainly use them again and would highly recommend their work."

"It really bothers me that I have to give a less than excellent review because the technician was great and did his job as required. It was the lack of response by the owner that was lacking. Scheduled for Feb. 21 and technician arrived on time. All the rooms looked great. The carpets were not extremely dirty. The only area that you could see was a path from the den into the small hallway. Technician was very professional and did a great job with the carpeting and cleaning up afterwards. You cannot see the results until the carpet dries. The next day there was a stain in dining room that was not originally there and in the living room there originally was an outline stain from a metal planter that had leaked. The cleaning in the living room had loosened the stain from the outline and spread it all around the initial stain. Feb 23, I called and spoke with owner who said the technician would come back and clean those two spots again. The technician was very accommodating and arrived that afternoon. I understand what had happened. The stain in dining room surfaced upon the cleaning where the water loosened it up and it rose. The living room stain may have been rust from the metal container but the cleaning loosened that and spread it around. That stain had been covered with a plastic tray under the planter so you could not see it. Now it is a big circle more than 2 feet in diameter. On Saturday, February 24, I called owner Gustavo and mentioned that I did not want the area cleaned again as the second cleaning did not do anything and I was concerned about the carpeting being worn away. I did request that he come and look at the problem and tell me what could be done. I explained he did not have to come immediately. I further stated that he could come anytime the following week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and it was agreed that he would call us to let us know the time. Unfortunately, never heard from him. We have a shampooer and I originally thought of doing the job myself but my wife and I agreed it would be too big of a job for seniors and a professional cleaner would do a better job. My major concern is that the owner did not follow up on the promise that he would do so."

"The Installation of my vinyl planking flooring by Fantastic Flooring went great. I love the look of my new flooring. John was great as well. He stayed in touch with me through the whole installation to make sure there were no problems. I would receive Fantastic Flooring for all your flooring needs, and I would use them again!"

"The installer Gustavo was great! He showed up on time, worked fast, and the finished product looks fantastic. The whole process was so easy, and I’d definitely recommend them. They even followed up after the installation to make sure I was satisfied with the result."

"I am simply AMAZED that I actually did this remodel project!!!  I keep looking at the finished project and saying "Wow... Did I do that"?  Since I have never cut tile, installed a bathtub surround or even seen those projects done, I know that I could not have done this bathroom remodel without the amazing help of Home Depo staff!!!   I could not afford to pay someone to do this work for me so I went to Home Depo and  asked for advice.  Everyone was VERY helpful and encouraging. My questions were many but the guys were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.  <br />  I was able to install a bathtub surround, and tile around the surround with no experience. I look at my new bathroom and am impressed at how awesome it turned out!!!   Just look for yourself at the photo.. <br /> A BIG thank you to the Home Depo staff on Pecos !!!!!    I could NOT have done this without you!! <br />"

"The actual carpet product from Cloud Carpet One is fine, but extremely poor installation and a month of follow-up with very poor communication results in a low grade for the vendor. <br /> I started looking at replacing carpet on the second floor of my home about six months ago. I had a specific cut-and-loop from Royalty in mind, but unfortunately that carpet is no longer made. Tom at Cloud Carpet One was fairly helpful in locating an alternate carpet and ordering up samples, but once the contract was signed for installation, he pretty much faded into the background. <br /> Installation occurred in early April. The installers banged up walls more that I've ever seen in the the half-dozen or so times I've had carpet work done at various homes in the last 30 years. I spent the next week retouching paint all over the second floor. Worse, a major seam in the master bedroom was done as poorly as I've ever seen - and this is a random pattern carpet. A combination of pinching and gaps made the seam truly horrendous. <br /> Calls to Tom were transferred off to George, who apparently is in charge of fixing installation errors. His follow-up and communication was generally poor, although once I actually got him into the house to see the situation, he agreed with me that the installation was done poorly and he'd get people back to fix it. <br /> That took another two weeks of phone calls and follow-up, all initiated by me, and one instance of a supposed sick installer causing yet another reschedule. All in all I've probably spent 8 hours working the phones, getting time away from work, and finally (today) having the rework installers come and fix the problems. <br /> The work done today looks very good, although not perfect, but I think I'll have to live with the results and take lessons learned. Cloud Carpet One can sell you good carpet at a fair price; they just can't install it or recover from service errors very well. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Henderson, NV

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
