"Everything went very well. Ron has a small team that he works with to complete his jobs. He was on-site nearly every day and completed the majority of the work with Dan, someone who has been working with Ron for nearly 10 years. After they removed the deck, we had siding missing. Dan has many years of experience with siding and did a great job of replacing the missing siding (after matching the old siding color at Home Depot and painting the new siding, it is difficult to distinguish the new siding from the old). Their attention to detail was wonderful. Whenever it came to a design question or how to lay out the pavers, they made sure to check with us before proceeding. They also were careful and proactive in protecting our new driveway, fixing any soil that got damaged by their equipment, and cleaning up after their work. The concrete slab is a beauty. Ron placed large stones on the two sides of the shed base that cut into the hill, and it looks great. This is one of the nicest shed bases I’ve seen. I would work with Ron again – no hesitation! He was punctual, communicated well, and worked closely with us to ensure the patio was what we wanted. After hiring Ron to do this work, I was happy by the uniformly positive feedback I heard from others who have worked with him (e.g., workers at Sensenig's where we purchased the pavers). Although his operation is small (there are no fancy brochures or sweet-talking salespeople), it is nice knowing that you will get the “A-Team” if you hire Ron because he has only 1 team and he is on it. He also does not have much of a web presence as he relies primarily on word of mouth. In total, we paid $33,900 for this work and are happy with this price and our finished product."

Text is easiest for me to communicate thru, and there was always an answer before going to bed. "Full disclosure: the owner is my wife's cousin's husband. Which means I see him maybe once every 7 years at family functions. I hired Sharp Construction because I knew I could trust the owner to to a great job at a fair price. The owner is of the mindset "do it right, once". I had problems with water infiltration/damage/rot that only got worse as the project moved along. I had set aside some money for repairs, but ended up superseding my repair budget (hence only being able to side two sides of the house). Sharp Construction fixed all my issues for good. In fact, many times he had already seen and fixed problems before I even knew they existed. The owner is on site doing the work with his skilled crew. His attention to detail is what I appreciated the most. I am a VERY particular person. I expect perfection when I fork over my hard earned money and believe me - I notice each and every little imperfection, if it is there. Sharp construction did not disappoint. Shane and his crew even double checked all their work when they came back a month in a half later to take out thier Wall braces. "See review 2015 for part one of story. I found I stilled worried about water in the basement crawl space even though there was a big improvement with the 2015 fixes. So I called Tim again and talked about options. Since the full size part of the basement didn't seem to have any water problems we left that alone and concentrated on the crawl space. His crew punched holes along the bottom of the walls to let water flow out. They draped the holes to direct the water flow into a pipe that took the water to the sump pump. They sprayed the walls to kill any mold that had formed and draped them with a material that made them look better. They also covered the pipe with concrete. The crew was wonderful, Brandon in particular. They worked hard in very uncomfortable circumstances (hard pebbly floor surface, 3 ft height, and huge spiders). At the same time, they sprayed foam into the space between the rafters along the outside of the wall (no more huge spiders) to insulate. To prevent future problems they reinforced my back basement wall to prevent the horizontal crack at the freeze line from becoming bigger. I am thrilled with the results. Besides the bonus of being spider free, I have no water in my crawl space, ever. I can hear the sump pump working nonstop during heavy rains and big snow melts. I didn't know I had bought in a high water table area and that basement water was a common problem in the area. You sure can't tell by my basement any more."
