"After meeting with Heather and choosing the right back splash tile and wood flooring for our house everything ran very smoothly. Their installation crew where prompt and very professional. Our floors and kitchen came out stunning and we have had many complements. On a side note I had gone to Home Depot to also get bids. When you compare the two I received a much better dealer at Carpets of Dalton and I was able to deal with the owners. I would highly recommend anyone considering new flooring to give them a call. <br />"

"Everything involved in the measuring, ordering and purchasing of the window through Lowes went just fine. I would suggest a different sub-contractor that they used from the local area. Everything went fine at first with the installation, until the first rains hit of the monsoon season. It was like a waterfall coming from the top of my master bedroom window. I called them back and they re-caulked the window. However, during the next rain, it still was leaking. Not as bad as the first time, but still enough that I had to fasten a tarp up around the window. I decided to have another company come in to fix it. The ratings below are for Lowes, not the sub-contractor."

"Wonderful! When was the last time you enjoyed a remodel? When was the last time you enjoyed having total strangers in your home? My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed having every employee come to work each morning with a smile on their face and a skip in their step. Each employee was professional, knew exactly what was expected of them, and treated us very well! They worked as a team and kept the mess to an absolute minimum. We would recommend them to anyone and already have."

"I went to Granite Plus's showroom and selected the specific granite slap for my laundry room. They walked us through all the details, as far detail edge selection. Nollan (Owner) came out to take the measurements and take the template of the sink to fabricate the grantie.  <br /> All work was done on the time schedule provided to us at the time of purchase. The installers who came out were very polite, made sure I was satisfied with the work, as well as taking all debris with them. Installing the granite countertop included the install of the undermount sink, which the hole was perfectly fabricated. The seams are maticulous and I would not hesitate to recommend Granite Plus (Nollan) to others. They may not be the least expensive, but the workmanship and professionalism is imparitive to have granite appropriately measured, fabricated and installed! You will not go wrong with Granite Plus. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Hereford, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
