NorthWoods Handyman has been an excellent partner for a number of repairs we're making to our farm house. Ron, the owner, came out to our house at our scheduled time to do an initial estimate of the repairs. He explained how he worked, who he'd bring out with him and what we could expect. My respect for him rose right away when he told us straight out that there was one type of repair he didn't do (carpet patching). I'd rather have someone tell me that up front than try to do it and make a mess of it!
Ron and his team did everything they said they were going to do and more. Along the way, they made good recommendations to make things even better (adding baseboards to the flooring, for example). They were patient when I changed my mind on the shower surround I wanted, and returned the old one to Home Depot without complaint. They even helped us move furniture around to make room for the flooring installation. Ron picked up all the materials we needed, credited back any extra items, and provided receipts for everything without my having to ask for them.
The repairs they have made look great. And the new flooring they installed in the basement is fantastic! Everyone who has seen it has commented about how great it looks. They've also been very respectful of our house and our time, letting us know when they are arriving or leaving, cleaning up after themselves, and just generally taking care of things. There was no mess left behind when they were done.
We will definitely be using NorthWoods Handyman again. In fact, we have already asked him to estimate four more projects for us, and are looking forwards to getting those completed.

UPDATE: We contracted NorthWoods Handyman again to complete some more minor projects, including one really icky one (pulling down old insulation out of a farm shed). They arrived on time and got everything done in two days! The work was excellent, and we're very pleased. I've upgraded their punctuality score to an A.

Joe was very prompt in returning my initial call and follow-up text messages. Through a text miscommunication (which, after reviewing it, was clearly my fault), I expected Joe's men a day earlier than they were actually scheduled. The walls look pristine - as though not a piece of art had ever been hung. The two men who did the work were courteous, professional, and after being given initial instructions, only asked what I considered to be essential questions. They treated my home and property respectfully, were very grateful when I offered lunch (which they clearly did not expect), and they took only an extremely brief lunch break - and were then right back to work.Frankly, I hesitated to write this review since I don't want others finding out about Joe and his team since I NEED THEM!!! But, since I found Joe through Angie's List, it's only fair that I provide feedback - as did the client feedback that originally led me to Joe and his team."

"Josh and Omni Services did a great job refreshing the exterior of my home.  the bulk of the project took just over 3 days to complete.  Josh and his team did quality work and in my conversations with Josh, it is obvious that he cares about the quality of work he puts out.  He was also able to make some last minute adjustments to the project a few days before starting when I decided late to also replace the garage door.
