"All was going great until they didn't order the windows on time. I had a deadline for a huge gathering at my home and I was assured it would be met. After not hearing from them about an install date after all the measuring was complete I called and the install department let it slip that they didn't get ordered on time. She said it was probably an error in the computer and she would find out and call me back. She never did. I finally got a call about an install date from the contractor and it was a week after our gathering. I called the install department again to let them know I was upset and was told I would get a discount after the install. The guy there said he would call and see if they could move the appointment up. He never called back. When the windows were delivered I had no idea they were on the way, they called 20 minutes before delivery. I was home so that was ok. They REALLY need to work on following up and COMMUNICATION."

"Excellent job.  Very good quality of workmanship.  Sales associate was polite and responsive to our requests.  Installation crew was timely and worked hard to complete the installation in one day, including redoing the major seam because the carpet was not lying and joining properly.  The result is that the long 25 ft. seam is undetectable.  The job included cutting out a large section of the old carpet (virtually unwalked upon in 8 years) and padding and installing it in a large walk-in closet.  This latter task was performed with care and quality workmanship. <br />"

"We have been in the market for hardwood flooring for awhile because we had terrible flooring in the home we purchased 8 years ago.  We went into Standard Paint & Floor covering and was greeted by Shawn Warwick.  We explained our situation and what we had hoped to be able to do. Shawn spent a lot of time with us explaining the differences in types of hardwoods and how each type fares in our area, which is a dry, arid desert type climate. Shawn was so knowledgeable and we developed a rapport right away with him.  After finding a flooring we liked we set up a time for a measure.  Shawn has a vendor he uses to install hardwoods (Floors to Dye For, Inc.) so Shawn and Dave came out to preview our home and did all the measuring.  Once our order was placed, it was only a couple of weeks before we had our install date. The install went exceptionally well and we could not be more delighted with product we chose and with the install itself.  Our installer Dave and his crew did an exceptional job and were a delight to work with.  Shawn has been so helpful and we will be seeking his assistance again for our next projects of new flooring in the laundry room, new countertops and carpet!!  We highly recommend Shawn and Standard Paint & Floor covering - they worked wonders for us!! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Clay & Jenn Plemmons"
