"Driveway was completed on time and to exact specs. The crew had to remove a lot of roots and debris in the process. I would highly recommend Jose and his crew for any concrete work."

"Not sure what it is up with these contractors on Angie's List, but this is the second paving business that told me to text my info and they'd get back to me with an estimate, and just never got back to me. It's not on me to chase down quotes -- if you don't want to do the job, just say so. I guess my job isn't big enough for these guys. So unless you've got a medium-to-large job, don't expect a response."

"Hired for my daughter's project. This is both of our account of the job preformed. The concrete looks good but customer service and satisfaction is not a concern with this company. The owner (Jared) steered away from his proposed method of performing the work, Jared was absent from the job and his crew damaged a fence and some landscape, the crew was openly drinking beer and one of them relived himself facing a window. Jared basically refused to meet face to face and look at the issues! Ultimately the land scape issue was passed over. Two fence guys did come by, but didn't take the time to properly fix the issues. When all was said and done Jared settled for $200 less than he asked for and my daughter is looking for someone to properly fix her fence and landscape. After all this I had still planned to hire Jared for my driveway extension but due to a lack of communication about scheduling, a change of the scope of work, and quoted price I decided not to!"

"Mr. Galloway kept in regular contact with me, arrived when he said he would, and did what he said he would.  The work was excellent. He was very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and professional. He brought in two assistants who did the painting.  Both men were very polite and efficient.  <br /> He matched the out-of-date floor tiles the best he could, purchased all needed paint, grout, wood, etc and brought all his own <br /> tools.  All three men cleaned up after themselves which was greatly appreciated.  <br /> I purchased the Big Deal from Angie?s for 40 hours work.  In addition I paid about $360 for supplies and $2000 for painting the exterior trim and replacing the rotten wood.  I didn?t keep track of the hours the men worked, but with driving and shopping time, I was pretty satisfied that the terms of the deal had been fulfilled.  The original estimate for the trim painting was originally higher but Mr. Galloway worked with me on the price.  The final cost was still more than I wanted, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The work was well done and probably worth the price.  <br /> I would hire Mr. Galloway again. <br /> <br />"

"<p>I telephoned and left a message for Michael Wayt on 9/16/14, and he called back immediately. I explained that I wanted to consult with him in person about planting several trees and shrubs in my yard. He said he would call back the next day to schedule an appointment, which he did. He arrived on 9/19, on time, for the consultation. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and, from my perspective, our meeting was a success. He provided lots of helpful suggestions. He said he would draw up a plan and estimate for me in about a week. (There was no urgency about getting the plantings done; I was shooting for sometime in November.) </p> <p>Michael's initial proposal arrived via email on 9/30, and over the next few weeks he and I exchanged questions, answers, and ideas via email and telephone about what specific shrubs and trees we should plant. Eventually, I sent him my final list, including a couple of landscaping tasks, and he sent me a quote of $1,775. </p> <p>My list: Extend by 3 feet an existing low, brick border; provide and lay 6 stepping stones; transplant 5 existing shrubs; dig up and discard 2 existing shrubs; provide and plant 6 new shrubs; provide and plant 1 small crape myrtle; and provide and plant 3 trees. </p> <p>Michael and two assistants arrived at 8:15 on 11/4 and completed all the work by 12:30. One additional thing they did was to take the sod that they had removed to dig holes for the new plantings and plant it in areas that needed an infusion of healthy grass. All the planting, transplanting, and landscaping was done carefully and attractively, and the crew then watered all the plantings. Thankfully, they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. </p> <p>Michael was a real pleasure to work with throughout the process. Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and personable, he exhibited a good sense of humor. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for future plantings and landscaping. My only suggestion to Michael would be to answer all emails. A few times, I had to follow up my email with a phone call because he hadn't answered the email.</p> <p>The final cost was a little lower than the quote because I (rather than Michael) purchased 4 of the shrubs at a local nursery, and Michael provided some mulch and transplanted the sod (see above), neither of which had been included in the quote.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Hernando, MS

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
