"This is the fourth time I've used DK Appliance for service in my home. I always get a rapid response and appointment date. Dawn, the office Manager, is very friendly and helpful. Kris is the lead technician and has always diagnosed the problems swiftly and usually repairs the problem on the spot, unless a unique part is needed. <br /> For this problem, I needed a new relay board because the relay switch was sticking in the "On" position. Kris showed me a temporary way to resolve the problem, and gave me the option to replace the part for a permanent fix. I chose to have the part replaced. The cost of the part was the same as I could get online, so I was not taken advantage of on parts pricing. <br /> I always come back to DK Appliance because I know I am going to get an honest diagnosis that I can trust and at a fair price. <br />"

"Roman was very responsive over the phone when I called. We exchanged several phone calls. He either picked up right away or called me back within minutes after I left a voicemail. He came out and checked out the place, even went into the crawl space, before giving us an estimate, and explained well in detail. He sounded like he's very knowledgeable and he proved to be one. He did not provide any written estimate other than scribbling down a line and cost on the back of his business card, which concerned me a little. I had gotten nicely written detailed estimates from other companies. The cost is about the same across the board, within $100 in difference. We liked the fact that he's very down to earth type of person and he is the one who does the actual job, not a separate service crew that we didn't see during the initial sales meeting. So we hired him. He got it scheduled within a week (our tank wasn't broken, so it wasn't a rush). He came out 10am in the morning and finished by 2:30pm. He removed the old tank from garage, rerouted the plumbing so the new tankless water heater is now outside on the other side of the house.  He explained to us how to operate the new water heater, and informed us what to prepare for inspection. He honored a $50 coupon from Angie's List. A separate electrician called and came out later in the afteroon to install a switch for the water heater (paid separately, but included in the overall cost). We bought carbon monoxide detectors and scheduled for inspection. A few days later the inspection passed. Roman called me again later to follow up and make sure things are working. We love our new water heater. We will gladly use Roman again for other plumbing needs."

"I woke up to frozen pipes. To trouble shoot and wrap the pipes correctly was $350. I added another $1,000 to replace the hot water heater altogether w/ a model that was Energy Star rated and ten gallons larger. The plumber took the time to wrap all pipes correctly and make sure it installed to code. Secondly, I took the opportunity to install a whole house filtration system, and I'm so glad I did. Noticeable improvement in water taste and quality. (The input and output valves on my 11 year old existing water heater were almost rusted shut - YUCK) And as it happens, that morning the connector for my refrigerator water supply sprung a leak. I was able to catch it right away and have JC Service fix. Whew! Would hire again."
