"Kevan & Drew at Drain Designs were fantastic! First let me say it was refreshing too actually, have someone respond and follow up to a call. I had called several companies/persons but none either responded back or showed up for their appointment. So, I was a pleasantly surprised when Kevan responded to my voicemail and showed up for the scheduled appointment. Water was leaking into my back room from underneath the deck and creating issues. Kevan came out and assessed the problem and devised a solution. Kevan & Drew showed up as assured. The process was explained every step of the way, so I had a very clear understanding of what was being done and why. Both Kevan & Drew were professional, and their work is quality work. "Excellent! Strange as it may sound, the visit from Chimneys Plus folks turned out to be the most enjoyable event of my week! Scheduling by phone was easy and quick... and Larry and Eric showed up on time, (wearing masks the whole time, which I appreciate during this pandemic), did a clean efficient job, spent the time to answer my questions and show me the views of the camera going up my chimney, teaching me a lot about the whole business, all the while being friendly not only to me but to my annoying barking little terriers. I really like, and trust, these guys! Thorough and neat and honest... didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I was told in advance what the cost of a chimney cleaning would be... no surprises. I will be using them for all my chimney/ fireplace/woodstove needs in the future, and highly recommend them to everyone."

"It has gone very smoothly, I worked with Alfred Pickett, (205) 837-1011, who quoted the job, scheduled the job with one of Authentic Restoration's roofing crews. It is Alfred who stood fast that our roof was damaged and likely that our insurance adjuster would approve coverage payments. This occurred on an incredible day when I coincidentally paid a home inspector to inspect a small area on my roof that another "sub" of mine had patched. Alfred was standing nearby and we didn't say a word that Alfred was a roofer. I asked the Home Inspector to check our roof while he was up there - and he came down and told me the roof was not damaged by hail! When the inspector left, Alfred showed me on his "Tablet" the picture he took of our roof and there were many pale charcoal-colored spots in the picture. This was the hail damage we suspected that occurred in April 2017. Our terrific Cincinnati Insurance Co. paid all of our $40,638 roofing/new gutters bill except a $2,500 deductible that we happily paid. Authentic Restoration performed a great job on our home's roof and (don't forget) gutters. I am so big on Restoration that we got my youngest Stepson's home re-roofed due to hail damage also, and happily this home was covered by Cincinnati Insurance also (hail damage). In addition, I've led, so far, two of my neighbors who own luxury homes with hail-damaged roofs to Alfred and they are getting new replacement roofs covered by insurance. Alfred has also made things easy in doing our two jobs and I am very fortunate that we crossed paths because he has saved my wife and I some serious money and made it easy!!"

"Blaze acquired Comfort Master, the company that originally installed my HVAC unit 8 years ago. So, I hired them for an annual inspection. They told me the heat exchange unit was cracked and needed to be replaced. The part was still under warranty. They quoted me a price of $2,600 for the labor. I asked how long the job would take and the tech said 3-5 hours. That is $650/hour! I told them I would get someone else to look at it. I then said I needed a thermostat installed and I had the item. They quoted me $500 for a 15 minute job to hook it up. These prices were absolutely crazy to me. The second company I brought in agreed the heat exchanger was cracked and said it was probably due to improper installation. Before he left, the tech told me about a plan for $349/year for an annual inspection of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. I agreed to buy that, as that was a good deal versus what you would normally pay for all 3 separately. A few weeks later they sent a tech over for the electrical inspection. I started getting concerned after he told me 4 times how frugal he was personally. I was right. He gave me a list of things that needed fixing totaling over $10,000. I then contacted my regular electrician and gave him the list. He recommended only 2 items on it costing under $500. Be very wary of Blaze, they gouge and do unnecessary work."
