Get matched with top wood flooring refinish pros in Hines, IL

"Danny and his crew were great. We originally hired them to refinish wood floors in our two upstairs bedrooms, but after pulling back the carpet and realizing the hardwood wasn’t consistent, Danny was able to pivot quickly and get LVP installed within 2 days. Very friendly and helpful, and great quality work done. We are very happy with the finished product! And lots of helpful tips and little detail finishes like staining thresholds that really brought the project together. Recommending Modern Quality Flooring to all our family and friends !"

"The project went excellent. The team was very professional and the quality of work is excellent. My new natural wood floors look amazingly perfect ! I highly recommend ReDesign Floors & Home."

"It went great. This is the third time we’ve hired the Wizard Of Wood floor for both of refinishing and Wood Floors We would highly recommend them"

"Very well. I had carpeted risers and Jose replaced them with wood. In addition, we had hardwood install in the hallway, and floors refinished. Jose was on time, quote was very fair. While working, he texted pictures of the progress and responded quickly to my questions. I would hire again...in a heart beat."

"I cannot recommend Superior Hardwood Floors highly enough! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. For my flooring project, they handled both the installation of new hardwood and the refinishing of my existing floors. The results were absolutely stunning—seamlessly blending the new wood with the old, creating a flawless, unified look throughout my home. The installation team was punctual, efficient, and clearly skilled in their craft. They took the time to ensure everything was perfectly aligned and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. The refinishing process brought my old, dull floors back to life, leaving them with a beautiful, rich finish that looks like it belongs in a magazine. George was patient with all my questions, helped me choose the best wood and stain options for my home, and communicated clearly at every step. He genuinely cares about delivering a quality product and ensuring his customers are happy. If you’re looking for experts who take pride in their work and deliver exceptional results, Superior Hardwood Floors is the way to go. I will definitely use their services again in the future and have already referred them to family and friends."

"Very professional and punctual. None of the contacts were pushy, listened extremely well and provided all insurance info immediately, without being asked. They were very flexible in doing whatever I wanted and did a fabulous job. Price was very acceptable. They warned me about the odor of the standard wood coating and it was extemely harsh as warned. If I did hardwood refinishing again, would probably opt for the no odor coating. Was done in a middle floor of an apartment building and both the floor above and below found it to be extremely odorous...especially since it was winter time and could not ventilate easily."

"I appreciated their quick responses and were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were willing to come out right away for an estimate. It was a small job and they did an incredible job. I could not be happier with the process and end result. The floor looks amazing now after they replaced and refinished several planks. I thought I might be charged inappropriately for a smaller job but feel that the price was fair. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs their hardwood floors repaired/refinished."

"We originally hired Adrian to refinish our kitchen floors and install new hardwood in our family room. After such a positive experience, we hired Adrian again to re-do our staircase (refinished existing steps and installed new railings / banisters/ spindles) and install new hardwood floors to match for our entire second floor. Adrian is absolutely PHENOMENAL. He is a super honest, meticulous, clean, genuine, great guy with an incredible work ethic and a true desire to give you the best quality work product. He can give you options to fit your price point, but is super honest about what is good quality wood vs what isn’t and what the results will be like if you use one product vs another. We’ve continued to go with the best quality wood and have not been disappointed. Adrian hands down knows what he is talking about and has truly mastered his craft. His work product is impeccable and worth every single penny. You get what you pay for 100%. He is super clean and there is never a mess or dust left behind. He communicates everything and follows his timelines. He is also super trustworthy. It is so incredibly hard to find workers like him these days. I would highly highly recommend hiring him for any hardwood refinishing or installation. You will not be disappointed!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Stunning Refinish – Highly Recommend! I couldn't be happier with the way our hardwood floors turned out! We had some old, torn-up floors that honestly looked like they were beyond saving—but the transformation is unbelievable. After the refinishing, they look like brand new floors, absolutely gorgeous, with a smooth, rich finish that completely elevates the look of our home. Not only was the quality of the work exceptional, but the price was also more than fair—especially considering the results. On top of that, they were incredibly professional: they showed up 15 minutes early, ready to work, and clearly take pride in what they do. It’s rare to find that kind of reliability and craftsmanship these days. If you're thinking about getting your hardwood floors redone, do it—and call these folks. I can't recommend them enough!"

"

We have used Exposition Carpet for several carpet installations over many years in our finished basement, and have consistently found the best pricing, ease of schedule and quality installation thru them. I especially like that it's a family business and you are dealing directly with owners and not with a salesman that doesn't even know who his/her boss is. The installers have worked their for years and that says a lot.

After going through a back porch remodel enclosing to a mudroom, we wanted a pet friendly, water resistant and durable floor so we went with vinyl plank. The store had many options, and time frame to get material was within a week. We checked out a 'sale' prior at a trendy well known Lincoln Avenue store, only to be met with double the cost and attitude. So we ended up back at Exposition and it was a done deal within 2 weeks.

I thought I had reviewed them on AL, but realized I hadn't when the list asked if members had any feedback.

We wouldn't hesitate to use them for any flooring needs.
