Dan and his guys demo’d a huge, old concrete patio and stairs along with clearing out numerous overgrown bushes. They installed a new patio and walkway along with two sets of entry stairs. "We hired Driveway Specialists to do repairs to our driveway and to do a seal coat. I struggled with the rating here. If I were just evaluating them based on the quality of the work, I'd give an A. And the people I dealt with were polite and friendly. But my customer service experience with them was frustrating. I won't go into all the details here, but it boils down to this. They were at times difficult to get a hold of. Also, on ore than one occasion, I was told by them that a job would be done on a particular day or week, only to have them not show up when they said they would and not call or email to let me know or to offer an alternative. It should be a basic expectation that when someone says they're going to do work on Day X, they show up on Day X to work. And if they are unable to fulfill that commitment, they should contact the customer to let them know. On too many occasions, Driveway Specialists failed to meet that basic expectation of customer service. Reading the reviews on Angieslist, it is clear that others have had my experience, but that we are a minority. Most people seemed to have had great experiences with Driveway Specialists. I can confirm the high quality of their finished work . But my customer service experience with them was bad."

"The owner Joe, seal coated our double driveway personally. Joe had completely excavated our previous driveway and replaced it with an expanded new one. He was on time for the date that we had scheduled. He used the highest quality sealer, known as Liquid Gold. Joe was meticulous in the application of the sealer and made sure the job was neat and clean upon completion. The end result was a professional driveway in both function and appearance. Primo Paving Inc. has our highest recommendation."

"Lou was great to work with- friendly, professional, easy-going, and most importantly, responsive. Even with me having some work travel in between when we spoke and when the work was performed and a couple communication hiccups, Lou and Andrew were friendly and professional and committed to moving forward to get the job done. They showed up when they said they would, did exactly what we agreed upon, and finished up early leaving my driveway looking great and cleaned to boot. "We had Marcellos come out to give us a quote and he was very professional, calm and reassuring. He asked appropriate questions and gave suggestions to maximize our investment. He had recommendations for dealing with our furniture while construction was taking place. When we got the quote he answered our questions promptly and made adjustments based on our changing interests. We haven't decided yet how much work to have done but we are planning to go with Marcellos once we finalize our budget. It's important to us to work with someone that we would welcome into our home under any circumstances and Marcellos relayed that level of confidence, communication and trustworthiness."
