"thanks to this site, I called Greater Wilm. Structure about a brick house I was buying that had cracked brick and unlevel floors. I assumed I would only (!) need to have that section of the home jacked up and the foundation repaired. Brian returned my call quickly, and met me and my realtor at the house (was a 45 min. drive for him) to give me his opinion and verbal price quote. Many contractors/carpenters would have just focused on the project and the money involved, but Brian wanted to see WHY the house had sunk. He pointed out the major structure issues with the tresses in the attic, joists, as well as other red flags, that would cause problems later. He's a master carpenter and his knowledge, experience (and sense of humor!) was refreshing and valuable. After meeting with him I decided to pull my accepted offer on the home and feel I have saved myself untold amounts of money, stress and frustration. I will definately be hiring this company in the future."

The guys were very professional and courteous, even suggesting ways to save us money. We were so pleased, that we contacted them again for additional work. "Patriot installed a new metal roof in March '23 with extra screws at an additional cost so that we could qualify for hurricane roof certification from NC, ultimately lowering our homeowner's insurance premiums. Unfortunately, Patriot did not take the necessary pictures of the finished work showing the extra screws needed to get the state certification which disqualified me from receiving the discount for the hurricane proof roof and thus higher insurance premiums. The additional cost amounted to more than $4000 over 4 years in higher premiums . They had agreed in writing that they were wrong and were willing to credit me back by check the difference in premium costs but to date and after several promises from their sales mgr, I have received <$1000 with numerous unfulfilled promises from the mgr that they would send the balance. Very disappointed with their mgmt and their commitment to do what they promise and to make right on their mistake."

"Don't hesitate to use their services! We vetted four companies to paint the exterior of our home. At the time, our home was under repairs from an electrical fire last year. I met with Daniel, the owner and we walked the entire exterior of my property which included our 2400 sqft home and a detached two-car garage. Daniel's 40+ years of experience in the Painting business was very apparent as we discussed multiple issues of concern and how to appropriately resolve them without inflating the final bill. I went home that night bragging to my husband about how comfortable I was with Daniel's expertise, attention to detail, approach to educating the homeowner on how to address problems themselves, and his quiet, calming demeanor when describing the scope of work. After all bids were received, we chose Daniel and his team and I'm writing to tell everyone that my home has never looked better. Shortly before the project started, we had to address an unrelated issue with the workmanship of the Contractor hired by the Home Repair Contractor to paint the interior of our home. I called Daniel, asking if he could please make time to come by and evaluate the interior painting job. He came two days later and as we expected, he found that the "satin finish" paint used, exacerbated the poorly installed drywall and other repairs. This man hadn't even painted my house yet, but we were so comfortable with his knowledge and expertise, we asked him to help us fix our home. We were on a strict timeline, so Daniel put other projects on hold and agreed to make things right. His crew completed the interior prep-work and repairs, all while painting the exterior of the home. With weather permitting, his crew completed the entire project in the cold and sunny days of Mid-December and January. Robby was phenomenal! He had an uphill battle to fix someone else's mistakes, but he accepted the challenge, and superceded our expectations. We can't thank him enough for caring about his chosen craft. My home looks absolutely beautiful, inside and out! My neighbors continue to call and comment on the color and paint job. I would hire AB&C Painting again for any painting project. In a world where people think of themselves, this is one Painting Company that cares whether you're fully satisfied in the end, and also warranty their work. I will praise the awesome work Daniel, Robbie, and crew accomplished to anyone who will listen and made our home whole again. I Highly recommend their services!"

"The work that was preformed was horrible. This was new construction home and which we thought we hired this company and come to find out they sub contracted the work out. This was a total Sheetrock job. A lot of our personal property was used and damaged, none of the work was complete on 2 separate occasions, the owner was very disrespectful when we called him out on it,etc. I can’t explain everything we went through to get this job done properly. We had to hire someone else to complete the work. Keep in mind we live over 3 hours away and 2 separate trips the work was supposed to be complete. I would not recommend and be careful signing their contract and giving them your direct account information!! They will try and withdraw the money without your knowledge and claim they made attempts to collect which is incorrect!!"
