"Stair runner was installed crooked and nails poking thru carpet. I have been trying to get it fixed for 6 months. Do not sign anything they give you unless you are 100% satisfied and you have read the paperwork. The second crew that came out to look at the issue tried to get me to sign a form. They said "it just says that we came out". That is not what it said. It said that the problem was fixed and that there are no more issues. They show up and say they will come back, then they don't come back. They took the remnant of my carpet to bind and "fix" the problem when they come back. Then, they didn't come back. And after each time they don't show or show and don't fix it, I get a text asking if I'm satisfied. Each time, we call and say we are not satisfied. There is no end to this experience. I am going for a full refund from Home Depot and asking them never to use this company again."

They did a huge retile job - with a custom pattern penny tile floor - in my 1940’s bathroom AND a custom tile feature- creating a design with my house numbers!! - on my front door stoop. I’m beyond happy with the finished products!! Stacy Smith and Monte Smith are truly artisans. Their work is special and akin to another time when nothing was “contract grade.” When such work was performed by skilled, well trained craftsmen. I’m so proud of my bathroom. And my front stoop! Hiring Smith Tile was the best decision I could have possibly made. I couldn’t have wished for better. I ended up with a stunning, beautiful bathroom and can’t imagine anyone else doing such an impeccable job - at such a fair price. Money very well spent. They thoughtfully and meticulously considered and adjusted for every detail and variable that accompanies remodeling an old house. Their years of experience and knowledge was absolutely critical to the successful execution of my bathroom remodel. Second, Stacy and Monte Smith are truly good, trustworthy, honest, kind dependable people who take pride in their work (as they should). (I must note that other companies did try to steer me away from a custom pattern penny tile floor likely because only master craftsmen could create what I wanted). They worked with my schedule and my constantly barking dog. They were extremely conscientious and considerate - making every effort to keep everything as neat and clean as possible. Pictures posted show the work as it progressed.The floor is a masterpiece!! I will post additional photos of the bathroom once it’s painted. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Smith Tile.
