"I called Roofer Mike based on Angie's List reviews and because he was one of the few that advertised application of Somay Mastic to augment roof protection on the flat roof. As he is a working contractor, it was a bit difficult to reach him via phone or receive a return call if leaving a message due to a busy schedule, but emailing proved to be the best bet. It's also worth noting that he's busy because he has a lot of work, and he has a lot of work because he's good at what he does. Mike is extremely knowledgeable in his work and the products involved in repairing, restoring and preserving as he has been in business for quite some time. When we first spoke about the job and what I wanted, he explained various ways to accomplish the job and how he would approach it – again, based on his experience, which was very evident. I was especially impressed by a high-tech move in a (let’s face it) basically straightforward, physically demanding job that I’ve never seen another roofer or contractor do: While we were on the phone speaking about the job, he asked for the address where the work was to be performed, brought up the property on Google Earth, asked details about the views he was looking at and was able to provide a price for the job since he approximated the roof’s dimensions just by the overhead images! After engaging in the service contract, Mike kept in touch to tell me when the job would be started, what the next step(s) and dates to continue would be and what he found while on the roof. He even included the corresponding area of the large A/C ducts and tubing when he coated the flat roof with Somay just, as he explained, for the extra protection as well as the aesthetic look. After it was done he also emailed photographs showing the completed job. I would highly recommend Roofer Mike and would definitely use his services again."

"T&S Roofing turned out to be one of the most professional vendors I've used in any construction or home repair project. From the first meeting to completion, the team at T&S roofing excelled. Sales rep Jorge Mosquera explained every detail of the project, including the pros and cons of different materials. Honesty and transparency were very important to us and he delivered on both. After the project began, an extremely helpful and friendly project coordinator named Sylvia kept us informed and updated on the progress at all times. She was helpful, resourceful, friendly and always available, even during the occasional after hours call. The roof replacement was finished on time and their crews cleaned up the area extremely well at the end of each day. The inspectors that came out commented on the high quality of the workmanship and materials used. Replacing a roof is not a project for amateurs or fly by night wannabes, but many make the mistake of hiring roofers based solely on low price and what they perceive at the time to be a great deal. That is until an unfinished or poorly installed roof becomes a costly nightmare. T&S offered us competitive pricing, which is different than the cheap or artificially low prices offered by unscrupulous vendors to get you to sign up with them. We highly recommend this company for any of your roofing needs."

"I did a lot of research before interviewing roofers. Florida Quality Roofing (FQR) was completely knowledgeable about the Certainteed Integrity Roofing System & the Owens Corning Total Protection Roofing System when I asked. FQR is certified by both manufacturers. These in-house designed products offer the highest warranties for shingle roofing systems. FQR has a great pre-construction communication process whereas there is nice sit down meeting with the owner, German, and the Project Manager to discuss the complete project from start to finish so the customer is fully informed about the process and preparations. FQR personnel went at my large roof early the first day and had the old roof completely removed and dried in on the first day. It was a long day. The Project Manager was on site all day, every day, except for a few material runs. FQR accomplished daily clean up work of removed roof materials and using large magnets to collect nails. FQR was completely responsive immediately to any questions I had or details I noticed. Except for two rainy days, FQR was on site working from start date to completion date. Final Inspection completed a couple days later. Pricing was good also. Not the lowest but also, not the most expensive. I definitely recommend Florida Quality Roofing. I did not record the total pricing in this review because pricing is completely based upon square footage and each roof is different."

"I had difficulty hiring a roofer for this small job. Most roofers did not bother contacting me. BigAl’s came and gave me a reasonable estimate. The roof was cleaned within days of signing the agreement. However the replacement of the damaged tile and repair of broken tiles was done weeks later. This was partly a scheduling problem but I had to call back a couple of times to get the job finished."

"I am very satisfied with the job A. Palmer Roofing did in replacing the shingle roof and the flat roof on the patio. I obtained proposals from five roofers. I selected Palmer because: 1) They were highly rated on Angie's List. 2) Although not the lowest price, their price was competitive. 3) All work is performed by their employees. They don't use sub-contractors. 4) When trying to make a final selection, they were helpful in providing a list of homes where they had recently completed installations. We began the process to replace the roof in March 2017 and signed a contract for a tile roof in May 2017. We paid the deposit but decided to wait until after the hurricane season before having a new rood installed. We changed our minds and revised the contract to install a shingle roof. We initially worked with Reuben and then with Jose. They were helpful throughout the process and answered many questions we had. We ordered GAF Timberline Ultra HD shingles which was a special order. Palmer started the job in early March. Once they started, their crew showed up every day. My neighbors have had experiences with roofers where the crew shows up for a day or two and then does not come back for a week. This drags out the project. This certainly was not the case with Palmer. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day. Palmer uses a truck to remove the old roofing material, not a dumpster. The real measure of the performance of a contractor is how a problem is handled. The roofing supplier miscalculated the number of bundles needed for our roof and shorted the delivery. Palmer discover the problem when the shingles were put on. Since our shingles were special ordered, Palmer had to go out of their way to find the additional shingles needed. The rest of the shingles were delivered within two weeks and the crew was here the next day to finish the job."
