"We changed a (rental) house from oil heat and electric hot water to gas for both. The house was getting new gas service, so Brad had to run a new supply line from the meter to the basement where the furnace and hot water heater are, then connect the new appliances to the existing water and (forced air) duct systems. Brad coordinated with the gas company and got everything installed in good time. We expect about a 3-year payback, given how much cheaper natural gas is. <br /> I've previously reported on plumbing work Brad has done. I reaffirm that (he's done additional plumbing work in the last year), and continue to say that Brad is a top-quality tradesman whom I trust thoroughly."

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

"The installation began the week after we signed the contract and was a functioning system after the 1st day. One installer returned the second day to finish up and install the humidifier completing installation in 2 days. The 'new' heat pump pad was a cement pad leveled underneath with stones and placed on top of and extending beyond the old heat pump base. I wasn?t sure how this arrangement would hold up in the winter so I held off on writing this review until now and the base has been fine so far. Overall the installation was done very well and the refrigerant lines were replaced with new ones (some estimates <br /> we had received from other companies used the old lines). The only glitch in the project was the door for the new filter box which the installers told me required 2 sheet metal screws to keep it in place. After the installers had left I realized the door <br /> had 2 ?hinge tabs? which must slip inside one side of the frame to fit properly, (without additional screws) which is why the quality score was a 'B'. Overall we are very happy with the new system and have seen about a 30% reduction in our electric bills and I'm impressed with how the heat pump is still putting out heat with the temperature in the single digits. The thermostat is full of features and very configurable and includes real time weather forecast and outside temperature and is capable of being controlled and monitored remotely via smart phone or computer. The new system operates much better than the old one with the wood stove that we use in the cold weather. There was an additional $1200 rebate from PPL that further reduced the price (as well as a $675 Bryant rebate and $725 Angies List rebate that are included in the 'Approximate cost of service'). <br />"

"I have used Jim services for probably about 15 years now. He is truly the only plumber I genuinely trust. He is great at what he does and extremely fair. I have used other plumbers in the past and they have always overcharged and lied to me. Jim has not only been fair but has taught me allot about how things work. I would highly recommend him to anyone. They don't get much better then this guy. He is fantastic and reliable."

"The technician was very professional and they did the work very quickly. I did get into an issue with the pricing though. Since my project was not a "must", I was not planning to do it if the price was too high. However, when I was texting to Brain, I got an expression that the cost will be significantly lower than what it finally was. In the end, Brain gave me a 30 dollars discount. The service was really nice, but I do think a more professional Quote would be necessary. In general, I would recommend them for plumbing projects."

"They installed the tile on the floor and supposed to come back to wipe the haze off and then seal. When we called to see when he will come back, he said on Monday at 10:30am. I waited home all day and he never showed or called. When I called him he said he forgot he was off Monday, he meant Tuesday. However, he never showed up on Tuesday, came on Friday. After wiping down we said the grout looks messy and the color is off, there were some skinny lines and some thick and not straight, he said you can wipe it with a wet towel and it will come off. We said can you come here and do it...why should we have to scrub the floor since we paid to get it done. We felt there was alot of bullcrap words....the job was not left nice, clean, professional the way we thought it would be. It took 1-1/2 months for him to offer a regrout and never apologized for the crappy job they did to begin with. We have used him about 5 years ago and he did do a great job, but I dont know what happened to his professionalism and honesty and detail to his work. Losing trust in him, my husband and I thought we would take the challenge to do the grout ourselves and glad we did. <br /> <br />Its ashame he didnt do a great job since we had so many other jobs for him to do. We will need to find someone else :( <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"
