"A little hard to rate a company when we've had two days of services in three days and the experiences were drastically different. We had a phenomenal crew today. Gina, James and Li'i are the BEST! This is a sensitive issue as my clients flew back on island after over a decade to close out their parent's estate. Limited to less than a few days on island, clearing the home was their only priority. Gina, James and Li'i were sensitive to the situation, compassionate, respectful and incredibly efficient. Our last crew wasted so much space in the trucks, charged for full truck loads, and quite honestly, unprofessional as they rummaged through my client's belongings. Gina, James and Li'i were able to clear out 3x the amount of items in the house than the last crew in the same amount of time. The only reasons I'm leaving stars off this review is because of all the incessant calls team lead was receiving and overall response from management and other teams. They were over booked. Disgruntled customers were constantly calling. With proper scheduling, Gina could have been focusing on the job rather than wasting time trying to put out fires. I have to say, hearing her speak to these angry customers on the phone, she was understanding, kind and professional. Takes a special person to calmly speak to someone professionally as they're yelling at you. Kudos to Gina! After almost eight long hours with us, they had to do 4 more jobs. Had more staff been available, as well as another truck, maybe not quadruple booking the same timeframe, maybe our job may have been further along. Needless to say, we don't blame our crew for the issues. They really were the saving grace for the day. I just wish we not only had this crew the first day but could request them for any future services. Shoot if this crew was there the first day, I have no doubt the full job could have been done by today. This team was great and if you insist on using this company's services, request these folks. They'll take care of you. Our previous teams and following services would have gotten negative star ratings overall."

"I needed to fully clean out a home (3bdrm/2bath) after the owner had passed away. I looked into ordering a dumpster, but decided hiring a professional hauling company was a better option given I don't live on the islands and had limited time. I contacted two companies on Monday morning, April 13, and Pacific sent over a representative (Ray) early that afternoon. I ended up selecting Pacific Junk Removal based on their estimate and my interaction with their representative. <br /> The house contents included three beds, three bureaus, two desks, two sofas, one love seat, dining room table, numerous coffee tables, four cabinets, and lots of household good. I had donated the better clothes, linens, non-expired canned goods, and electronics (TV & computer) previously but things were still very cluttered inside given the amount of built-in cabinets. The outdoor area stored a couple of lawn mowers, wheel barrow, BBQ grill, potting material, yard & garden tools, a few cans of paints, and a container garden built on concrete blocks. The estimate was three truckloads at $675 per load. <br /> A crew of seven showed up Thursday morning with two trucks and began removing the house contents, sorting items into four general groups - combustibles, junk yard, reusables (clothes, dishes, etc.), and I forgot the fourth (electronics?). As requested, I had placed the paint and the garden pesticides in a separate area. Both trucks were loaded up by noon and left to deposit their loads at the proper facilities. One truck and a crew of three returned in the afternoon to continue the work and removed the remaining household items and some of the outdoor items. Since not all of the items (including the concrete blocks) fit into the truck, they stopped by the next morning to complete the job. <br /> I was very pleased with the work and being able to clean out the house during that visit. The crew was very professional and friendly. When they discovered a few "questionable" items like award plaques and pieces of jewelry hidden among the kitchen utensils, they brought these to my attention and some of these I ended up keeping. Not everything happens perfectly and there were a couple of glitches. One jalousie window glass slate was broken trying to open up a window - it was hot and not all the windows open easily since some haven't been used in a while. And an area I had declared off limits had a digital picture frame removed erroneously that I didn't notice until later, but I could have put a big sign up rather than a small sticky note. Overall, I was happy with the work and would use them again. <br /> <br />"

"Outstanding! I am a DIYer and was planning to do the shower pan and tiling in my 62 yo single wall house. After the plumber changed out the old iron corroded drain system. I realized I was over my head with this project and needed a Professional. To my rescue came Kealii. Asides from being a meticulous, highly skilled Tiler with attention to detail, and doesn’t rush things so he can get it just right. He’s a good communicator; lets me know what time he’s coming the next day, texts me the next morning that he’s on his way, and is on time. If there are changes with time or the job, keeps me in the loop. Those are a Huge part of my Customer satisfaction. He raises the Bar for Contractors. About the shower job, I know it was challenging for him cause this old house had crooked; floor, walls, and ceiling.
