"The purchase was made in November 2016 but due to inclement weather and cold temperatures the actual project was postponed until suitable weather. Mr. Wilson monitored weather conditions, kept me informed, and the work was scheduled one of the very first days the temperature and weather permitted. The Apex crew were on-the-dot punctual. The work was done in nearly the exact time duration as estimated and the final bill was comparable with the estimate. Their work was done according to regulation and the work inspected -- something that the previous owners had obviously not done when the project was first completed. It is so nice to know that the roof is solid and up to code. It looks nice to not see the rotted boards, and I really appreciate parking and not getting dripped on!"

"Excellent. From the owner Mitch to the salesman George to Nick and his Dad who did the actual installation, all were professional and good to work with. Their price was the best of the 3 bids I got, although to be fair the comparison was not apples-to-apples among the 3 contractors. One bid used aluminum-clad wood, another a composite; Thermal bid using triple-pane solid vinyl windows.They were careful checking the measurements and kept us posted on progress. Nick and his Dad worked quicklly, even in 90+ heat, usually leaving early afternoon. They were good about cleaning up -- no debris left over. They were also good about keeping the inside of the house clean and meeting EPA requirements to avoid spreading lead dust (our house is over 80 years old). Took them about 5 days to install after the windows were manufactured. No complaints at all. Hope I never have to do any of this again, but I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone who needs window replacement."

Over the five visits, the crew was always timely and have transformed what was a tired looking living room and dining room into like new wall surfaces. In the 12x24 living room, they removed the old canvas like wall covering, skimmed all the walls and replaced the plaster in a textured ceiling and two wall areas that had completely broken away. The dining room was the real test where ultra thick textured plaster was on all walls. The walls were floated to a smooth finish and sanded. The finished product looks great and Jim and his team were committed to addressing any detailing that needed performed following priming of the walls. If you have an older home, this repair process sure beats replacing all the plaster and lathe but be warned, it's a dusty process so make sure you seal off all areas thoroughly and be prepared to dust for days.Thanks Angie's List and thanks Jim Spears Plastering!"

"I took advantage of the Angie's List deal of $99 for the gutter and roof cleaning.  While I normally do my own gutter cleaning; due to recent shoulder surgery, I am unable to do so this year, so for the price, I couldn't pass this up.  Plus, there was some asphalt roof debris on my roof, thanks to the house next door.  :/  While initial communication rapport could have been better, Mr. Scott made up for it, with timely and frequent communication in the end.  From what I can tell (since I can't climb up a ladder at the moment!), the roof and gutters both appear to have been cleared off all leaves and debris, as visible from the sidewalk and what water is coming out of the downspouts.  Thanks Roofing Service Specialists!"
