"I recently started inquiring about getting a new roof installed. I met with each company but one really stuck out while trying to pick the contractor to install the most important part of my home. Storm Maters' Kerry Klein arrived on time, actually started to inspect the roof before I got there. Once I did get to the house, Kerry was actually measuring the entire roof; first contractor to do that. Once he was done on the roof, approximately 30 minutes, I had the pleasure of speaking to him about some of my concerns. The entire quote took about an hour and a half but my concerns became his. He offered many solutions, he's extremely knowledgeable and very, very thorough. He climbed every inch of my attic inspecting it as he went to ensure he didn't miss anything. "I purchased a house in Charlevoix and during renovations in the middle of winter learned my roof was in much worse condition than our inspector reported. Green Horizons, and Steve the owner, were extremely responsive and fair and were able to install a beautiful metal roof even during periods of heavy snow. Steve kept absolutely every promise and it was one of the easiest home repair projects I have ever had. Although it was an expensive roof, it looks great and should last for many decades, so I don't regret the cost the least bit."

"Kevin put together a proposal to install seamless gutters. We have a two story home, so Kevin was more than happy to separate each section/story of the house with the price, and presented different options for screens or toppers. We are surrounded by lots of tall maples, so leaves/seeds are definitely a concern for us, especially on the second story where gutter cleaning is more difficult. In the days following, I spoke with Kevin at length on the phone about the different screen/topper options, and I felt he really wanted to provide the best solution for the lowest cost possible (i.e. I never felt like he was trying to "sell us"). We decided on open gutters for the first story (easier to clean the first story gutters) and LeafX toppers for the second story. We can always add screens or toppers later if we think they are needed.
Install: Kevin scheduled the install date. Installer(s) arrived as agreed and finished the install on time. No construction debris left behind. Rained that night (true story). Nice quality job...gutters and downspouts appear solidly installed and work great. No more water ponding on our flower beds or pouring off the roof at the front door.

We agreed on price and he put us on his schedule 2 weeks later. They showed up day one and worked hard in the heat, dirt, and we hardly heard a word out of them.
