"We recently decided to terminate our landscaping company and hire separate companies, one for lawn cutting and another for fertilization, weed control, etc.  We spoke with a number of companies providing the latter service.  Sunlight, Water, & Us impressed us the most by far.  The owner, Jason, really knows his stuff and provided some helpful tips and advice even before he knew we would be hiring him!  He was very responsive and professional.  He returned all of our calls promptly and very ably responded to all of our questions.  When he leaves an invoice for one of the visits he also provides notes along with it explaining everything he has done and responding to any questions.  This will be the first season we are utilizing the company's services and but so far the lawn looks fantastic.  I would recommend the company to anyone who asks. <br />"

The day of, the men showed up on schedule, they removed all the vines from my house, the fences and gave ten or so trees a long overdue haircut. They even trimmed one of my neighbor's trees that had been growing over my driveway and onto the power lines. The were professional knowledgable and thorough. "I called Big River on Wednesday 8-27-14 at around 7:00 pm and left a message. The next morning before 8:00am Roger the owner of the company called me. I told him about the lawn mower and I needed the lawn mowed and probably some shrub trimming done. I work full time and he was kind enough to meet me at my home during my lunch hour. I was late and he still waited for me. We went over the property which is a 1/2 acre and decided what I wanted done. We decided what was going to be done and decided on a price. There were no guessing games of what the price would be - I told him what I had to spend and he said the back yard would not cost that much. He said lets see what we need to do in the front. We have an electronic fence under <br /> ground to keep our dogs in the yard and explained to Roger just cut sapling trees flush with the ground so as not to cut the wire for the Canine fence. Needless to say the Canine fence was fine. Friday Morning Rogers crew started work and completed it by the afternoon. I can't tell you what a nice surprise it was when I drove up to my house. <br /> All the shrubs were trimmed, leaves gone, lawn mowed and they even put my little lawn ornaments they found under the brush around so they accented the landscape. I can honestly say - you definitely get more than your monies worth and then some with Big River. I have actually called Roger back and asked him to be my mower man - I don't intend to ever mow our lawn again. <br /> I also want to say, I got an estimate from another company and the total cost for the same work was $1,035. <br /> In conclusion I trust and like the way Roger conducts his business - Big River is my go to company for all my landscaping needs <br /> If I could give Roger a higher grade than an A I would. <br />"
