They used ropes to ensure the tree limbs did not fall on my neighbor's property and a combination of handheld chainsaws and chainsaws mounted on extensions to reach the higher branches. They bought their own truck-mounted chipper which came in handy for disposing of the larger tree limbs. Their professional experience on tree removal was on display when it came to trimming the branches of a 30-year old tree that was over hanging on my property. He assessed both trees, said he could remove the maple without damage to my neighbor's shed, and said the other tree was alright. (He could have said it needed to come down too, and increased the job for himself and the cost to me, but he didn't.) He took down the split maple safely, without touching my neighbor's shed, and removed all the debris, including some branches that weren't part of the tree's being taken down. "They were very careful w/ maze if power lines and cable, etc. Strapped each limb and carefully lowered it , where few men w/ chainsaws cut them up and fed into wood chipper. Ground stump and left grindings to fill the large hole left! My neighbors were so Impressed, they immediately requested their services for dead tree removal for Monday September 1st (tomorrow). He obtains license from town quickly and gets a perfect job done. Amazing ALMIGHTY! More neighbors have asked about prices. The lowest free estimate and cost exactly that amount. Other tree removal companies on Angie's list were exactly twice as much and wanted to drop branches AND disconnect cable lines etc. Almighty needed access to tree and put down flat wood to protect our lawn from wheels.
