"Jeff was very receptive and tuned in with the ideas we had in mind. He was straightforward with the possibilities and the limitations of the options we had for project. The project started pretty much right on schedule around mid July. Any few obstacles the project had regarding materials, regulations, or schedules, were promptly addressed to our satisfaction. Within three and a half weeks construction was completed. I was not expecting these guys to build things so quickly. It was a pleasure to have Jeff, Shane, and Jake. They were all professional, yet friendly. The very few things we had noticed during construction that required fixing they addressed to our satisfaction without hesitation. Their craft is top-notch. As a bonus you get a wonderful team of fun, friendly individuals doing everything possible to make your outdoor living dream space a reality. "We hired JP for a powder room remodel, hoping for high-quality work completed within a reasonable timeframe and a fair price. While we are aware most handymen charge hourly, we sought an estimate / range of hours; we felt this was a reasonable request for our budgeting purposes. Initially, JP confidently estimated the project to require between 40-60 hours. However, we quickly realized that we were nearing the upper end of that estimate, and our initial invoice, issued with significant work still pending, accounted for 37.5 hours (62% of the 60 hours), raising further concerns. When we raised these concerns with JP, he assured us that we were still on track to remain around the 60-hour mark. However, as the project progressed, we began noticing significant issues with the quality of the tilework. Upon discussing these concerns with JP, he acknowledged some of the imperfections but said there would be additional time and charges for correcting them, implying a trade-off between quality and efficiency. Despite clearly emphasizing our expectation for both quality work and reasonable adherence to the estimated timeframe, JP claimed we were focused on prioritizing hours and costs rather than addressing our quality concerns. This misalignment ultimately led to a disappointing outcome, prompting us to terminate the project prematurely. Despite our dissatisfaction, we paid JP $5,400 for 56.5 hours and cut our losses on an unfinished project. While Joe, the worker assigned to our project, maintained professionalism and a courteous attitude throughout, the overall experience fell short of our expectations. While we appreciate JP's attempt to communicate with us afterward, it unfortunately came too late to restore our confidence.This experience has taught us valuable lessons about ensuring alignment and fit with a contractor's approach, and we'll apply these insights to future projects."

"I would highly recommend Ben and his co-worker. We hired them to remove and rebuild two custom louvered sun awnings on our midcentury modern house, and they turned out excellent. Ben was prompt, completed the work on time and at a very reasonable rate. Working with him was a better experience than any contractor I’ve worked with so far! Will hire him for future projects. "

"This is the second time we have used Dan. He built us a gym, with a sauna install. We hired him back. He is without a doubt the most reasonable and quality I have ever worked with. He does not try to talk you into things, he actually talks you out to make sure he keeps you on budget. We got everything we wanted, and he built us a bar as well. He allowed us to do a few things to save on cost. He is kind, funny, direct, but open to what you want to do. He wants you to be happy with the end product. His subs are all vetted by him and they were all top notch. My only issue, was the delays with subs, but it is 2022 and we all need patience."

"Hello Tony, So we had xxxxxxxx come out and the following was discussed: 1. Because of the design of our home with the foyer and existing 2 levels what we “essentially” have is a two zone system. 2. If Countryside removes the zone system and dampeners we will have no heat in our lower level so they advise against that. 3. There was a way to give us a two zone system however because Countryside chose the layout the way they did there is no option to do anything different at this point. Short of a whole new system at the going rate of ~ $7000 (You have been paid $7505. Removing anything will lead us with just what we started with which is NOT ACCEPTABLE. 4. Countryside has provided us a “quote” and a final bill. There is no signed contract, no change order, no email agreement to do any additional work other than the quote and the crossed out “upgrade” that the quote identifies and Tony was told of specifically at the final “pre work” meeting. 5. We are starting drywall 01/28 and Doug and Joanne Hill are considering $7505 (paid) the total amount due. Please note this amount is ~ 20% more than the quoted amount. Again, there is no signed contract, no pre park scope agreement, no change order or any other conversation signaling to the homeowners the cost would be more the the originally quoted amount of $6505. 6. The homeowners also have two quotes that the desired two zone was possible and that due to the design of our home, essentially what we have. Except due to Countryside opting to add zoning system the two zone system can not be re routed any other way. 7. Doug and Joanne Hill has asked for the Owner to contact for over a week, this has been done via the Sales guy Tony, posted on the Complaint/review site, and a Better business Bureau has been filed over a week with No response from countryside. Given that all this has been done we are considering our relationship complete. Doug and joanne hill have paid Countryside in FULL (20% over quoted amount) and 10% over market value for work complete as evidence by report from Center-point home Services. Addendum 8. Doug and joanne previously offered to split the ~3300 upgrade homeowners did not agree to - leaving countryside to absorb 1505 and the homeowners to pay 1505. Given the assessment from xxxxxxxxxx this offer has been withdrawn! I will forward this to the owner and the BBB Done !"
