"The work was fine and I really like what they did. The trouble is, he does not answer or return phone calls and if he does, he'll promise anything but doesn't follow through. My suggestion is use them, they're good. But hold some money back and make sure they do what was promised before you pay in full. They promised a year guarantee on the plants and he has not replaced any that died. I'm tired pf this fight and figure I'll just eat the $100+ I lost in plants. Lesson learned."

"BEST CONTRACTOR EVER! The project included an exterior ramp, 1st fl laundry & 1/2 bath near the kitchen. I needed the ramp done 1st for an elderly person being released from physical rehab in under a wk. He worked very hard through the worst days of the smoke from the Canada forest fires. He understood ADA requirements and built accordingly. Plus, he suggested things I hadn't thought of like widening the mudroom doorway for a wheel chair if needed in the future & raising the mudroom floor just a little to keep it level with the kitchen floor. The ramp is very sturdy. The senior is using it with great confidence. The interior revamp went very well & was just what our senior needed. Not only did he have the project done in a timely manner, but while walking through Lowes he noticed a stackable washer & dryer 20% off, unopened box. He texted me & we grabbed it! Dave not only knows the construction business but goes above & beyond what's needed and he has a good heart."

"He can be pretty busy, so you might have to wait a week or two, but the wait is well worth it. He doesn't overbook, so he comes when he says he will. He has done much work both when I was living in the house and after I moved 350 miles away and put it up for sale. I simply gave him the keycode for the house and let him do his thing. He phoned photos of what needed fixing, and "after" photos. At first I asked for estimates, and after hiring him several times, simply gave him the go-ahead and his billing was more than fair. I once overpaid him by paying an invoice twice, and he tore up a $900 dollar check and texted me to let me know. THAT'S HOW HONEST HE IS! I've bought faucets and lighting fixtures online and had them delivered to him (because my house was vacant) and he installed them for me rather than insisting on buying them himself (as most contractors would) and passing a markup along to me. He also recommends others for work he doesn't care to do or doesn't have time to do. He will also tell you what doesn't need replacing but can be repaired at less cost.
