"We had a few contractors over to give us estimates. It was summer and kind of busy season so they all took a week or more to get back to us. I think EHS were among the fastest, which we appreciated and the least expensive, which we really appreciated. I mean we got one estimate to reface our existing cabinets - 1500. For 2600 or so EHS said they could replace our cabinets with new ones, build a little wall to block the view of our washer / dryer (in our kitchen), and remove some soffits that were wasting space and cramping our kitchen. <br /> So we hired them to do that and more. For expanding the entrance way, one contractor wanted 3k. For the same price, EHS expanded the entrance way, and tiled our shower, and put in new counters and sink, and did some touch-up painting, and installed a couple of ceiling fans, and installed new locks. <br /> Good quality, good price. Jeff and Wes and the subcontractors I met were always polite and responded to calls or messages in a reasonable amount of time. I would use EHS again. <br />"

"Louis arrived on time and performed his work above and beyond my expectations. Our yard was a mess from neglect and damage to trees. He cut the trees up and cleaned the yard so well it was incredible. He hauled everything away in his big truck. He even got the little chips from the sawing! I have never had anyone work as diligently and professionally as he does. I will definitely have him back for more work. I need my driveway redone and will be calling Groundwork Services."

"Nice guy - generally works out of his truck. Didn't do exactly what I asked and unfortunately, I was out of town when he placed the concrete. Have an unwanted slope in the front and a low spot in the back that pools water when it rains. His general work is Ok in terms of finishing, etc., but I think he was in a rush and didn't do the best job. I'd probably use him again as long as I was able to be present and supervise the job."

My job was scheduled for two weeks, but due to rain and other jobs not being completed it was delayed getting started. I am so glad that I waited. When the crew arrived they walked through the job with me and verified the details they had on the work order. Overall craftsmanship and quality is great. "They were very careful through the demo. There was no way to know just how the house was constructed. They worked fairly quickly, but did take a few days to work in another job. They are a small outfit (father/son team) so that's normal. I was very pleased with their pricing. Very pleased that even while propping the sagging floors they went slow enough to avoid damaging the interior decor with the exception of two minor cracks. A lot of tight spaces and difficult to make all the cinderblock seems perfectly straight. <br /> They were the only contractor I found willing to do the job. Jacking up a floor is way to risky for most contractors in the area(alpha foundations). They worked with me to understand exactly what I wanted. I'll be using them again in the spring to build an independent foundation and frame for a wood deck in the spring(so as not to drag the house down and to cover up the cinderblock walls; which dont match the brick, but are dirt cheap). At that time they plan to check any settling and reshim the house if necessary. <br />"
