The interior stairs of my fathers brownstone were carpeted for over 30 years and a previous contractor had removed the carpet without completing the job. Aldo removed the nails and residue carpet material, repaired several treads of the staircase, replaced several spindles, laid vinyl flooring , and painted the risers and spindles. But he didn't read the packages for compatibility, ended up swapping the units and had to swap them back after puzzling for 30 min to get the full setup. It ended up costing 2 hrs for what probably should have been a 40 min job. Also, after he left I noticed the walls around the switches were scuffed up and it took a few min with a magic eraser to clean up."
