"Shaun and Steve from Boevaag Plumbing called/texted to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule. This worked out great and they were able to start about an hour before the estimated starting time. On an outside spigot that was leaking Shaun showed me how one nut just needed tightening. Leak gone. I had a valve that ran to the kitchen refrigerator. I assume this valve was likely added by the previous homeowner, as it was unfortunately placed after the shutoff valve for one of the outside spigots (so when I shut it off for the winter, no water to the fridge). I had them move the refrigerator valve (they put in a new one) before the outside shutoff valve. A shutoff valve for another outside spigot wouldn't fully shut off. They replaced both of the shutoff valves with much better handle valves (rather than the knob valves that were there). The pipes to the water softener needed to be tweaked to line up with the new softener. They did that, hooked up the new softener, ran it though all of its cycles and showed me how to use it. Shaun also gave me advice on maintaining the unit. The main waste pipe had a joint that had failed, Steve and Shaun replaced the necessary pieces and everything looks nice and sealed once again. The guys took a little under three hours to get my long list of items accomplished. They were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt the price charged was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Boevaag Plumbing and will most certainly use them again."

"We decided to have our softener fixed instead for replacing. Did not choose Northern Plumbing for the task."

"They were helpful in fitting us in on short notice. The plumber was friendly and confident in his knowledge. The price felt a bit high for the project, but with an active leak, we didn't want to spend too much time shopping around for other bids."

"Aquarius Home Services' personnel are always friendly, efficient, and good communicators. Ryan Kahl did a great job for us servicing our water conditioning system. He is a good communicator and very courteous, exploring how he could provide additional help or service for us."

"I had used Jon in the past for an outdoor shutoff valve a few years ago, and he was outstanding, down-to-earth and fair in price. Those days are clearly gone. The visit began with rolling out a (literal) red carpet at my front door (I knew I was in trouble at that point). The plumber did a complete inspection of all my plumbing in the house (I did not request this), in order to make additional suggestions for improvements and wrote up a very detailed bid of the job and future options. The prices for the leaky shower faucet were SKY HIGH! I brought this company in as a second opinion and had a bid from a competitor (equally good service, equally qualified plumbers ) , so I had an idea what market rate was. They were fully TRIPLE the cost! I had to basically negotiate to get the price down and asked them to leave my home 2 times during the visit. I finally got them down to about $200 more than what the competitor bid and agreed to the price, just get the job done after so much song and dance and sales mumbo-jumbo, laminated flip charts, etc. etc. I will say, the plumber did outstanding work and was very nice and professional, but I would rather just have a plain, no-glitz plumber like the old days. To recap: THEIR PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH! [*** Link removed ***]"

"Harrison showed up on time, even a little early, he called before he came. He did a professional job of installing the new faucet, sink drain and toilet. I contacted 6 plumbers, 5 from Angie's list, one recommended by my tiler, this plumber never returned my call. Only one other plumber other than Harrison gave me a bid based on the job, All others wanted to charge me service call plus time. Harrison was by far the cheaper cost, but the work done was very professional and he cleaned up after himself. There were extra parts that were needed, but he did not charge me for those parts. We are very pleased with his work. We have other work that needs to be done, and I definitely plan on having Harrison do the work."

"I purchased a new shower faucet and cartridge for the repair. Donny told my wife and I to save on the new faucet and wait till we did some wall/tile repair if we were to remodel in the near future. Rather than following our first wishes he may have saved us around $400, or more by being honest and a good guy. We had the cartridge replaced for our Moen faucet. It operates very well and no drips (bad for the Cat though!). We had additional savings when we returned the faucet to Menards. The cartridge was about $36-$39. We have used Randy Lane several times (maybe 5-7 times) and were quite satisfied. They have been our plumber of choice for several years. This was our first plumbing work completed by Donny. Not our last for sure!"
