He explained the process and cost and warranty, and the price was very reasonable. I signed the contract and put down the deposit right away. And two weeks later his crew came and did a great job. They clean up very nice after the job too. I was worried about the leaks before snow comes, but now I feel so good that it is all done. I received other quotes from other companies, And they said that I had to replace the skylight window that would have cost me much more and it was not necessary. "Hamdan Quality Roofing was able to provide a great product at a very good price point. Other companies are potentially 1.5x or 2x the price. They can provide a good price because they are family owned/operated, they own a metal roll forming machine where other may not, and they make their own fittings (z-bar, ridge cap, w-valley channel, end caps, etc). It is very important to understand the differences in what you get with metal roofing products as there are so many variations and they are transparent about the different products. They can quote agricultural panels (exposed fastener panels), shingles, and standing seam (concealed fastener). I went with a 24-gauge metal standing seam (concealed fastener). They were able to put it right overtop of the first layer of shingles (with a synthetic barrier) which some other contractors may or may not quote it that way. They own their own metal roofing roll forming machine (Englert Machinery - model FP1101), they purchased large rolls of metal from CMG metals, and they had a metal bending machine in their trailer to bend their fittings (ridge cap, z-bar, w-valley flashings, drip edge, eave end cap, ect). The panels were made on site which was cool to watch. They installed S-5 Colorgard snow bars. Some hiccups with the permitting but it was approved by the township after the township dropped the ball on a couple things. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a metal standing seam roof."
