"Chris called in advance to let me know he was on the way to the appointment 11-7-24 arrived on time. He installed the security system that I had purchased from Home Depot which included 2 cameras and a video doorbell. The cameras were installed out side, 1 in the front near the top of the garage & the other on the upper patio wall on the back porch. After each camera was installed & after I had down loaded the app for the video doorbell & cameras, I could see very clearly the front door entrance, the driveway & entrance of patio sliding glass door. The installer, Chris showed me each step he took to install the security system. He was patient with me when he asked me to go to the app store to down load the app so the security system could be installed. After he installed the security system, he tested it with me showing me the features how they worked. The price was reasonable for the 2 hr. installation."

"My husband and I chose Mr. Build to install a new front door for our home. The salesman was great, we gave our deposit, they took the final measurements and we waited for the door to be installed. We were told the door would need to be modified to fit our home by the manufacturer and it could take a little longer, which was fine. We were surprised when it arrived early for installation and were happy to schedule. Unfortunately, the door had not been modified at the manufacturer and the installer did the modifications on-site, including cutting our foundation and “shaving” the top of the door which left it uneven. He also cut into our new flooring and left a large gap between the threshold and floor which he tried to fill with silicone. We had them return to inspect the work and had to reschedule someone to now place a new threshold transition and also attempt to fix the window moldings. A couple weeks go by and then we start to see gaps of light between the side of the door and the frame from the inside. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to fix the issue and being told it was a tech's last day and he “tried to make it work” we still have the same problems. I've asked what our options were since they aren’t fixing the problems and claim they will “make it right” but the issues are never fixed. I was told by Melanie we would not receive any amount of a refund and they will not pay for another door. Needless to say, after months of dealing with this we are extremely frustrated, beyond tired of the excuses, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability. To spend $3000 to have damage done to our foundation, new flooring, and having light, heat, and outside air coming through the door frame is ridiculous in Florida. We were better off with our previous $200 door from Home Depot."

"After doing a ton of research and reading dozens of positive reviews, we contracted with Home Safety Solutions in May to design and install a Nautilus hurricane-rated roll-down shutter to protect our home's front entryway. We figured if the product and service came even close to living up to all the accolades we had read, then we'd likely be satisfied. Well, Home Safety Solutions actually exceeded our expectations in every way, and we absolutely recommend the company to anyone looking for a first-rate product designed and installed by first-rate people. Communication was exceptional from start to finish. Every contact was friendly and professional. The sales and office staff, the owners, the installers were all unfailingly respectful and more than willing to answer questions and show off their work. Appointments were made and kept, every time. When the first install attempt went wonky because of a measurement problem, the crew returned a few days later with the problem solved and with a small but creative redesign to better fit our space and to give us more flexibility in utilizing the shutter. The county inspector, at the request of the office, came the next day and signed off on the permit. And a few days later the crew returned, post-inspection, to cover the screw heads with matching panels that completed an attractive as well as highly functional system. Oh, that was Tuesday, with Idelia roaring up Florida's Gulf coast. Perfect timing! We slept well that night with our new hurricane-rated shutter protecting the entrance to our home.
