Then on the day of the work, they showed up and worked through to the next day and removed the whole chimney from the inside without making a dent in the house. I was MOST impressed with this as I have 2 small children so dust is a big deal to me. Since they are so prompt and efficiently, i was able to coordinate with my roofer to come in on the same day to seal up the roof. We discussed before hand that the bricks should blend in as much as possible, the selection of bricks Tri-State was able to find helped achieve this. The masonry is aligned properly and looks beautiful. The sealer was a suggestion by Mr. Dintino because our chimney is on the north side of the house and does not get sunlight. We see it has made a difference and are very happy we went with the suggestion. The crew arrived promptly and Mr. Dintino was on site as well, they were all professional and cleaned up each evening to minimize the impact on our access to the house. "The project was completed to my satisfaction and looks pretty good (see photos). Installation supervisor was responsive and personable. Installation crew was polite, quick, efficient and cleaned up the yard pretty well. During the walk-around I noticed a few of the shingles were damaged from someone walking on them so I asked them to fix them. They fixed them, but I was bummed to have to tell them to do it. This should have been automatic during their own checks. A couple of comments. The supervisor should try and remain on the job site all day since the crew does not speak English. It would have been tough to communicate with them if my other half was not a native Spanish speaker. The dumpster company they used sent the junkiest looking dumpster I've ever seen to my house. The bottom of the walls were completely rotted through with huge holes in it. I was really worried about nails falling out in my driveway and down the road when they moved it. I walked my driveway like 5 times after they took it away. Sure enough I found a few nails. I would be sure to tell them to send a dumpster that looks like it was not at the bottom of Boston Harbor for many years. The crew needs to update their safety equipment and use lanyards and harnesses rather than old frayed ropes."
