After a really bad experience installing LVT on an uneven surface, my partner and I were determined to find a contractor who could get it right this time someone who would give us our forever floor. Even though I was responsible for providing all the materials, when the transitions I bought didn’t quite match the look of the floor, Fillip went above and beyond. He found and picked up the right pieces that same day so the job could be finished properly. I may not have the flashiest kitchen, but thanks to Fillip, the floor is flawless and I’m definitely hiring him again to do the backsplash once my partner finishes installing the trim. After getting multiple estimates for carpet for our basement - we decided to go with 651 Carpets based on price and quality of carpet that we were interested in. They were $2k-3k less than most of our other estimates and the quality of the carpet was the same, if not better than some of their competitors.

On installation day, the installers came on-time and finished the installation for our basement and stairs in one day. They were very professional.

"I called Asbestos Abatement Associates in a slight panic on a Friday because we were having carpet installed into our basement and the work was halted because there was what was believed asbestos in the tiles under the tack strips and the workers would not move forward until it was tested and cleaned up. Richard called back immediately and set an appointment for the following Monday morning. Within 24 hours we had the results and were able to schedule the cleanup for the following day. The office worker Nancy was extremely helpful in clarifying what we would need to provide our carpet installers as well as what the cost and scope of work for the cleanup would be. The cleanup crew were punctual, courteous and very professional. While I hope I never have to...I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Wonderful service top to bottom."
