"Amazing.  We made many trips to "visit" the slabs we could choose from.  We provided a sketch of what we wanted to do, and they reserved the piece we chose.  When the cabinets were ready they came to our house to get an exact measurement.  They have state of the art equipment, actually surveying each area with their electronic equipment to get it perfect. We deviated from our original plan at this meeting and they were able to accommodate our changes.   When they had the pattern ready we went to their showroom where they had the pattern laid out over our granite so we could see just how it would be cut for each piece.  At every step of the way each person was professional, punctual, and seemed happy to be doing the work.  It was a delightful experience and we have totally enjoyed the resulting kitchen cabinets. <br />"

"This is a local company who first ordered the granite we had picked (with a refundable deposit), then had us inspect it to make sure it was acceptable, then came to our home and took a template of our counter tops. At this point (later the same day) we were invited to their shop to meet with the actual fabricator who helped us place the templates on the granite slabs to showcase the best features of the granite. The actual fabrication took about 10 days and included a 15 year sealer for the granite. The actual installation occurred about 11 days after the fabrication started and included the removal of the old counter top and all the prep work. Total time for installation was 3 hours. The installers were professional and conscientious and cleaned up after they were done. The company offered to put us in contact with a local plumber to reinstall the plumbing, but we declined as I had installed all the fixtures in the first place (I'm a major DIYer, but not for granite!). The new kitchen counter top also included a free under-counter stainless steel sink. The new counter tops look absolutely fantastic and we are very pleased. We priced granite and quartz counter tops at the local big box stores and found R and J to be about the same price with the advantage of being able to pre-inspect the custom ordered granite slabs as well as being able to work directly (and locally) with the fabricator to get the perfect look. We did not feel like just another big box customer and were pleased with the entire experience and result."

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured.
