"Domian responded when three other concrete contractors wouldn't even answer the phone to give us a bid. They said that they usually work on larger jobs than ours but they would give us a price if we would agree to be flexible on the work date.  Since our job was a smaller one, their plan was to complete the work when they could couple it with another job nearby.  We agreed.

It took a few weeks to get scheduled but they came and did nice work over 2 days and were very courteous to my wife who was home during part of their work. It started to rain after the concrete was poured and one of the workers said he lived nearby and if weather posed a threat he would return to cover their work. The rain was light, no cover was needed and the sidewalk looks good. The buried downspout now empties rainwater harmlessly to another part of our yard instead of the walk up to our front door which will be a major improvement when winter comes.

I should also add that our sidewalk was not a routine install. It was located over a section of side yard that had a layer of solid rock that prevented the usual dirt removal and form set. The brought a bobcat to clear the path so that the sidewalk would follow a smooth, level path parallel to the street.

There were no surprises. They did what they promised and their workmanship was excellent."

"I hired them to replace and pour new concrete on my driveway and back patio. Everything about the experience was excellent: they were extremely professional, courteous, and communicative; they completed the job when they said they would; the driveway and patio look great."

"The floors themselves ended up looking very  good, however during the process the molding transitions between the floors and tile was torn up and not replaced, the baseboards were beat up to the point that all needed repaining and cable feeds that came up through the floor were pushed down in two of the rooms. When we complained about the molding they first denied they had done it, then saw the logic that it couldn't be anyone else and agreed to replace it. They showed up with new modling as one long piece that had been removed was broken in half. When I inspected it afterwards I found that they had reinstalled the broken piece as well as the other old pieces and it looked terrible, especially next to the nicely done floors, like putting a beautiful picture in a crappy frame.
We had arranged for them to put molding down in a bedroom but cancelled the order and won't use them again. I might have got past the banged up baseboards and lost cabel feeds but when they went cheap and didn't put down $5 worth of quarter round to nicely finish the room it told me volumes about their workmanship and customer service.

Once I decided to hire her, she came to the house to see the job in person, take measurements and discuss some of the design elements of the patio and front stoop. Once we finalized our contract, her foreman got started on the work right away, he and his crew had the work done within one week and it turned out very well. As with any project there were a few minor bumps and small delays, but they worked through it, communicated very well and did a fantastic job.
