I purchased a replacement and realized it was too heavy for me to deal with. Chris contacted me and gave me a great price. He and his son Caleb came and installed (including cutting the ladder down to fit and also some additional adjustments for the hole so it fit accurately). They cleaned up the area and even got rid of the box that the new attic ladder came in. I was so happy with the work, I asked him to give me a price on another project."

"Floors Sag or Shake was one of three estimates we got to reinforce the sagging floors in four rooms of our older home. We went with them based on the work they proposed and their positive online reviews, and we are completely satisfied with their work. They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment. "After an initial quote was agreed upon he (Zak) started on 5/24/25 on front porch which took awhile due to weather. It was completed 6/5/25. He (Zak) started on back porch/deck 6/5/25 and upon another inspection found 1 deck board the needed to be replaced. He continued working sanding the deck and did remove the 1 board to be replaced. After a few hours he said he was done for the day. He later sends a text and ask to pay the $124.34 for deck screws and board. All I asked was for to see receipt of material for the board. That resulted in him (Zak) telling me that’s a good price and it could and will be more if I do agree and pay this amount ($124.34). He also said that he thought that was a “**** good price”. I didn’t appreciate him speaking to me that way and the whole conversation is better told in text messages. All I want now is for someone else other than this (Zak) to just complete the job according to original contract."

"OK.....after a couple of issues came up initially....1) first appt. was "lost in space" (not written down by the him who scheduled me)....2) reschedule was to be first thing this morning and he had a dead battery and flat tire and called me to let me know he would of course, be late. Guess these things can happen to anyone. The work seemed very thorough. I haven't inspected everything too carefully yet (since I want it to dry completely before I walk around on the carpet), but I am pretty certain it will be a great improvement upon how it was!"

"Earnest Middlebrooks and his brother, Michael Buckles, were hired to do a job for me. They were terrific because they arrived on time, did the job expertly and were nice gentlemen. I had Earnest patch and paint some damaged places on my dining room wall. Then, I had Michael remove our electric fireplace our builder did not insulate before putting in and then he rewired it. Because they did that well, I hired them to put up a new motion detection flood light. Great job, again. I plan on calling these guys every single time I have a project from now on. Call them. You will like them. So very happy I found them on HomeAdvisor. This is a much needed service and I am recommending it to everyone I know!"
