"Our water heater sprung a major leak late at night. I called Allen Plumbing to do the repair based on the excellent reviews on Angie's list. I called at 12:30 PM and Lamont was at our home by 3:00 PM. Our water heater clearly needed to be replaced. Lamont could easily have told us that the tank needed to be replaced, and charge us for a new tank. Given the massive amount of water coming from the unit, we would not have known any different. Instead, he went out of his way to phone the manufacturer to see if the unit was still under warranty.
