"Prompt and thorough service. Decided to switch over to this company for long-term sprinkler maintenance and upgrades."

"We met with Jim in March and went over our needs for a yard that includes wet/dry zones and was having new flower beds installed in the spring. Jim presented a great plan and was open to suggestions which included changing the zones in the far back from vertical to horizontal. He explained his process of doing spring openings first before he did new installs. The spring of 2019 was a record setting wet spring so our project was delayed until July. Jim stayed in contact and was able to accommodate us as his first residential install for 2019. He showed up as promised with a crew ready to work and finished the job in the 3-day time frame. He was able to creatively work through challenges so the system meets our needs. I LOVE having the entire system controlled from an app on my phone. The app is intuitive and it is easy to create multiple schedules involving a variety of zones - some are grass and others are flower beds. The system is flexible and additional heads can be installed as we add more plants to our landscaping. We also have a rain monitor that works in conjunction with the local NWS reporting station. Jim and his crew are professional, easy to work with and nice to dogs who need a break outside during the day. I highly recommend Jim and his crew!"

"I bought a home with a sprinkler system two years ago, but had not turned on the sprinklers. A plumber warned me not to turn them on without checking out the system. Two of my neighbors use Shafer in the Spring and Fall. I called to set up an inspection & to get my sprinklers activated. Great work for a very fair price, and I'm extremely pleased. Don't be put off if you encounter some difficulty reaching them, or a call isn't returned promptly - they are VERY VERY busy, but their services are reasonable and done well enough that it's worth the wait. I will definitely be a regular customer."

"These guys are amazing! They work hard and they do an excellent job. We have them come every year to update or replace our mulch, any shrubs that may need replacing and do the trimming. Here?s a few pics of some of the work they?ve done this year."

"Quick, efficient service to activate sprinkler system. Crew was friendly, answered questions and reviewed possible upgrade. Highly recommend!"

"Angie's list needs a field where it says that this provider was never contacted and provided no service for me. I like a lot of things about Angie's list but I don't like being asked over and over about a service that was never provided. I am hoping this answer will stop the emails from Angie's list about a service that was not preformed. It was not asked for - I just read the ad!
