"Jeff arrived when he said he would and performed the work as promised. We didn't discuss disposal of the old carpet ahead of time and I didn't realize that I would have to do that, but as it wasn't too much carpet, it was not difficult to put it with other trash for pickup."

"We recently had wood floors installed & needed repairs done to the carpet where it meets the wood. We also had an area that was bulging & needed to be restretched. I called Nip & Tuck after reading reviews & they were able to come out the next day. Jerry, owner, was very nice, thorough & did a great job. Our carpet looks great! The price was also very reasonable. We are very happy with the results."

"I found Liberty on Angie's list two years ago. They have been here 3 times and I'm very satisfied each time. This time there was also a minor repair and this was conducted to my satisfaction. They get out water and food stains and wear and tear very well. I have no pet stains or odors so can't speak to that. Try them - they have treated my carpet expertly and they are congenial and polite, professional!"

"Shelley came out to our house and listened to what we wanted to use our space for and then walked through the basement with us. She explained the different types of pad and carpet that she thought would work best to meet our needs and then brought in several different samples for us to look at and feel. There were several price points to choose from and we chose a carpet that was very comparable (looked and felt the same to me!) to one that we had found at one of the big box stores. We had done some and quot;homeworkand quot;, at Shelley's suggestion, and had a price quote from two different big box stores so that we could compare apples to apples. The Carpet Connection price was almost $2000.00 LESS than the other quotes we had received! We selected our installation date and let Shelley handle the rest. It was so stress free and we are thrilled with the results! The installers were very nice and did a great job. We had a lot of carpet installed (1000+ sq. ft.) and they were here the majority of the day. They cleaned up everything and vacuumed the carpet before they left. We have had the carpet for one week and love it! We would recommend Carpet Connection to anyone and we plan to use them again when we need to replace our bedroom carpet."

"I was new to the Denver area so wasn't sure which carpet cleaning company to trust. I also needed someone to come out on the day after closing on my house to clean all the carpet and re-stretch several areas. I selected Impressions based on the reviews i found online and their availability. They quoted a reasonable price over the phone and stuck to that quote at time of service. I don't normally fall for up-selling but the technician identified a couple areas that could benefit from their other related services and it ended up saving me time and also being reasonably priced (cleaning the tile and garage floors). I called them back out to re-clean a stubborn area that became visible in better light and they showed up without any argument and took the time to make it right. A great family based company to do business with! <br />"

"<p>Had new carpet installed by Bob in April of 2016. He is very knowledgeable about all products and only recommended products after we discussed what I wanted. His time in the field showed with the professionalism and with the quality installation. He cleaned up after himself daily and informed me if the carpet seams weren't to my satisfactory that he would return if needed. Could not be happier with the finish product.</p> <p>Had Laminate installed back in 2006 in my kitchen and entry areas and to this day still very satisfied. </p> <p>Its nice to know someone that is still around in business and is NOT a fly by night contractor. </p> <p>   </p>"

"We decided not to go with them until we have done more shopping. They quoted roughly $6,000 for wood and installation for a 425 SF area. The wood is northern hard maple(to be site finished). Our saleswomen Lori was wonderful, she knows her business, was very patient and helpful(we were in the showroom for two hours with her)"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Indian Hills, CO

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
