"The guys arrived the same day I requested the work, they (two guys) went right to work, after providing an initial verbal estimate. After working about 15 minutes the lead guy noted that there were more leaves in the back yard than they originally estimated, and he asked if I would agree to a slight increase in the estimated cost. Since I had found the original estimate very reasonable I was OK with the update from $150 to $200, in part because I had witnessed what a thorough job they were doing. The complete job took about 1 hour, start to finish. My wife and I were very pleased with the overall job, and will certainly consider using them again next Fall."

Their price was the best i could find and since i have a half an acre of front and back yard in my urban house, there were a lot of details to take care of, corners by the raised backyard patio, rose garden, narrow law strips between the roses and the curb, etc., and they worked with me to insure that every inch of my lawn was irrigated. "I had an old water heater (was in the house when I moved in about 20 years ago) and it started to leak. After shutting off the water to the water heater, I did a little Angie's List research to find a company to do the replacement. I called a couple and decided to use Randy Lane, based on cost and my interaction with them, which I felt was cordial and helpful, and made an appointment.
The service person arrived on time on the day of the appointment and went to work. He disconnected the old heater and hauled it out. The new heater was brought in and he did the needed plumbing work to connect the water and also made the natural gas connections. He fired up the unit and briefed me on the new unit - how to turn-off the water and gas, if needed, temperature, etc.
The area was left in the same condition as when he arrived.
