One company wanted to jack hammer the entire basement floor and excavate the around the house. Needless and expensive. Ken Bird, owner of CMI Comprehensive Mold Mgmt Inc., however, was professional, explained what needed to be done, provided a fair quote and offered financing information if I was interested. This was the only company who recommended a NY State Licensed 3rd party certification, and guaranteed the work for life. I have already recommended this company to a friend with similar basement issues. The Project Manager onsite was Mike, who was professional, courteous and explained the daily progress during the week they were here. The project included: mold removal and remediation, basement waterproofing (walls), new glass block windows and sump pump well replacement. Overall - five stars !"

Went very well overall.  I'm very satisfied.  Mike, the owner, was always 10 or 15 minutes late, but that's minor in the grand scheme of things.  The materials they removed from my basement walls were mine to dispose of, which was a surprise.  But, the contract did say "removal", not "disposal" - so that's my fault.

They obviously know what they're doing, they do what they say, and there were no hidden costs.  The quote was exactly what I paid.

I'd use them again, and I'd recommend them to my friends and family.
