"The workers arrived on time and got right to work.  They put up plastic sheeting to cover all the doorways and our kitchen cabinets, stove and refrigerator.  They put heavy paper down on the floor and then covered that with tarps.  The first day they removed all the old drywall in the kitchen and hallway and took it with them when they left for the day.  They only took one short lunch that day. <br /> The next day they started installing the new drywall, again taking only a lunch break.  The following day they finished installing, sanded it and put the primer on and took a short lunch and picked up some of their equipment.  The next day the drywall was painted and left to dry.  The final day they installed the trim work and cleared out all of their equipment. <br /> There were two guys doing the work. <br /> They were extremely professional and polite.  They answered any questions that we had and did a wonderful job!!! <br />"

Rand R impressed us in all these aspects. <br /> <br /> Our home is a drafty Michigan farmhouse and in order to increase energy efficiency, we decided to insulate the crawlspace. Rand R is business local to us--and we prefer to use local businesses whenever possible. Customer service was prompt and professional and we are happy with the job they performed. <br /> <br /> What especially impressed us is this: our crawlspace is very narrow--one literally has to crawl on one's belly to move around in it and there are a variety of pipes that run through it. Following the installation of the insulation, we discovered that pipes had come apart at the joints in two places and we needed to call a plumber to repair them. I do not believe this was the result of negligence at all. <br /> <br /> When I reported this to Rand R, they did not argue. They promptly covered the cost of the plumbing repair. They stood behind their work and I commend them for this. Accidents can happen and the mark of a business with integrity is that, when they do, they are addressed fully and appropriately. <br /> <br /> For this reason--as well as for the good service we received overall and our happiness with the service provided--I give them an unreserved recommendation."
