"The quote process went well. Carlos is very knowledgeable about the trees and processes. The quoted cost was much 50%than other Arborists (which is different than a tree trimmer). When I asked why the price was high, The response was "I am offering a premium pruning, which consist of raising canopies, interior thinning, reduce away from home, balancing trees, deadwood, mistletoe and broken limbs removed, most importantly the Selective Pruning on the higher parts of tree that is strongly recommend." Based on this response, I hired them to do the job. They did a good job of installing the tree brace and cable system. They also did a nice job of pruning the Live Oak. However, the other 2 trees were given a very minimal trimming. Asked for them to return and complete the "Premium", They came back the next day and did the job completely. The trees now look great. In summary, they are capable, quick, knowledgeable and expensive, and may under-prune unless you are very clear on your instructions."

He asked about the product I provided, did research on it on his own. He started and finished when he said he would. His team did an amazing professional job on my relatively small project. Two weeks after they installed the lights they came round one evening just to check everything looked good - I didn't even ask them and I was very pleased to see such attentive care. "Make sure you verify where light fixtures are being placed, charged 150 (set charge that also went against my allotted hours not incremental) to install an additional 2x4 brace for dinning room chandelier. High mark-up on outlets so if you might have bad ones pre-buy. Pre-buy before install as much as possible even if you think you don't need, this avoids inflated part cost."

"My wife and I had a few smallish projects to do in the house and we decided to get them done with this electric company that we found on Angie's List. After one false start with trying to contact them (didn't hear back from them, which was fine because we got busy anyways) I tried again and got it touch with Dave, who was easy to work with. We got into a good routine of communicating via email, which was easy for me. For some reason he didn't want to give me an estimate on-site, but he was reasonably prompt about getting it to me by email. One thing I greatly appreciated was his willingness to suggest cheaper options and to pare back his own work. We wanted an extra wire run through the wall and ceiling so that our ceiling fans could be run on 2 separate switches (one fan one light), but he recommended RF boxes in the wall with buttons. Cheaper, and pretty straightforward - I could easily do the work myself. He was happy to scratch it all from the list and save me a lot of money. We did still have them out to install three recessed lights, however. A work crew (not Dave) came out to install the lights, and they did a good job. Looks great, materials were top-notch and the finished project is perfect. They were quick and clean, too, covering over furniture while they worked above it."
