"Writing this just after Ken left today, 03-22-21. Fantastic! Ken was not on time - he was early! He called day before to remind me of appointment. In previous phone calls, Ken detailed the inspection and cleaning fees (WAY less $$ than another chain operated chimney company). As it turned out, all of my flues & chimney were in great shape so it was only $149 for the inspection of both fireplaces and all three flues. Nikko's Chimney (oops; didn't mean to put their name here :-)) wanted $199, $189 and $179 PER FLUE!! Ken also gave me some good tips about caulking needed around my chimney and inside the fireplaces that will preserve my fireplaces and chimney and save me money in the long term. I found Ken to be very personable, knowledgeable, punctual and professional. I would absolutely have him come back in the future for any work like this I will need! "An inspector required a liner be installed in a chimney in order to vent a gas boiler properly (this according to some recent building code changes is supposed to prevent mortar deterioration when a newer furnace is installed and no longer vented in the same stack).  Ron came out, inspected the chimney to confirm it was a reasonable procedure, and then forwarded pricing for stainless steel as well as a less expensive liner option.  I went with the stainless, he showed up on time and banged it out in a few hours.  I've dealt with lots of contractors and Ron is just up there.  Solid dude, reasonable pricing, reliable, clearly knows what he's doing in a pretty niche industry. <br />"
