"Jerrod the owner of Archstone was emphatic to point out that he is one of the best if not the best and a very conscientious and honest man. He said the mortar on exterior house wall is very hard and can't be ground out. Per his expert advise the best things is pressure wash and scrape out loose and damaged mortar and use sponging technique to fill in cavities with type S mortar. I understood and agreed asking for care with pressure washer. Quote was $2922 before tax. He said the wall wouldn't look much better than it does now but he would get all the places having egregious deterioration and then seal. Two days work. Moving forward his team (him and a 18 year old nephew) came and went in less than 4 hours. Sealant remained to be done and I could see that cost was itemized at $400. I personally could do it in 1/2 hour so I asked him to scratch it from the price. He was very amenable to that. The issue arose when I was sealing I found and sent him photos of spots with severe erosion that were missed and should take about 1 hour to fix. Some on wall, one in bottom corner of house, one big seam in windowsill. I sent email and photos asking for him to return. He didn't reply. 1 week later I reached him by phone and he said he didn't get the email/or hadn't read it yet but he wasn't going to come back for 'pinholes' which I could do myself. First of all I could do everything myself but that's time that I paid him for. He is too busy to come. Photos are from the south wall as discussed."

"Confident after seeing many houses with Town & Country Fence sign installations, we have decided to have Town & Country Fence (Lynnwood) replace and install our fences in 2015. We signed up for fences with "24 inches Concrete and Pipe Base Posts", which comes with a 10 year warranty. Everything looked great in the beginning. However, within 2 years (2017), we noticed some of the posts twisted and cracked. Thankfully, Town & Country Lynnwood responded and repaired it accordingly. In 2019, we noticed 4 of the posts to be wobbly and bent/leaning from the fence line. We called and they sent their guy over to check it out. Out of the 4 wobbly posts, Town & Country decided to only fix & replace 1 (one) post ! When their crew came to fix that 1 (one) post, we all discovered: the pipe posts were installed on shallow 5 inches (versus 24 inches) concrete. Being that the concrete was 19 inches shorter or 79% off from specs, we felt shortchanged. We were confused why Town & Country Lynnwood would allow shabby workmanship and not redeem itself by repairing the remaining 3 wobbly posts. Early summer 2020, we decided to call Town & Country Lynnwood again to re-address this remaining matter. Their guy came today July 21 and took pictures of the other 3 wobbly and undersized fence posts (pictures attached showing 6- 7 1/2 inches of concrete base only instead of 24 inch specification) and cryptically said, "I'll show the pictures to the managers and the managers will call you. Maybe we will submit a bid to you". Learning about: posts resting on shallow concrete 79% below specifications, and defiant customer service that does not seem to listen even if the 10 year warranty is still valid... only sums up one word: FRUSTRATION. Of course, there's always hope for redemption. If they did, I will update on this matter again."

"Fantastic - Scott Taylor agreed to rebuild our large, old deck even though it was at our cabin out in the mountains. He then had many good ideas about how to redesign the original deck in ways that were more efficient and also looked better. He was very communicative and explained everything as we went along. He and his team worked day and night, even in the pouring rain and during the challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic. I would definitely hire him again, he is so professional and also very personable."

"While we ended up with a new fence at the end of the day, it was an awful experience and I can't recommend Alpine. They were great upfront, then it all went downhill when the work started. The estimated 2-week project took 8 weeks to complete. Communication was consistently poor. Several times no one showed up on site or even responded to calls and texts for multiple days. We received complaints from neighbors from builders leaving trash and trampling their plants. For what we paid, we did not expect this level of unprofessionalism."

"The service person was timely and quickly diagnosed the problem. We ended up needing a new garage door opener. We scheduled a 2nd visit for the garage door opener to be installed. The technician arrived promptly again, installed the garage door opener and made sure I knew how it worked. I have always had such good service from this company."

"I can unequivocally recommend BLC Remodeling! After meeting with Ben and discussing our options, we were presented with a very reasonable cost proposal. We got bids from 3 other contractors but we sensed red flags with those guys so choosing BLC was easy. Importantly when the job was completed on time and on schedule, there were no surprises and no inflated costs for the changes that were decided on. In fact the costs were lower than I even would have expected. When it comes to a bath remodel, these guys are talented, creative and meticulous. I liked that they do the greater majority of the work themselves and not to many subs are in the picture. The guys (Ben, Bob and George) showed up at 8:30 sharp every day and hustled all day. Every interaction was pleasant and cheerful! When issues came up as they always do, whether it was a minor decision to be made or a super important decision, it was always brought to our attention up front so that we would make the right choices. The guys are energetic not lazy so there was no such thing as cutting corners. Ben and George do beautiful work and customer satisfaction is a must. We are so very happy and thankful! We will surely contact BLC Remodeling in the near future for our next project."
