"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

"We live atop a steep hill in Coolidge Corner. We purchased our home in 2019, and the home originally had a back deck that was in disrepair. We initially thought that a patio was out of our budget but Jerry worked with us in getting a paver patio within budget. Because of that, Stonewall Landscapes was able to do a complete overhaul of our property. This included adding tiers and landscaping to our front hill, designing a side path, and installing a paver patio, retaining wall, lawn/garden, and privacy fencing in our back yard. We are beyond thrilled with their work. Jerry worked with us in figuring out what we wanted our front hill and backyard to look like in terms of landscaping, and Jerry incorporated our ideas when selecting which plants/trees/shrubs to plant. Jerry is incredibly detailed-oriented, and his team is professional and efficient. They were here before 8am every day and worked 6 days a week to finish our project in about 3 weeks. At the end of each day, the team made sure that the work area was neat and clean before they left for the day. They were ahead of schedule and on budget. We have had multiple neighbors stop us to complement their work. We couldnâ t be happier with their work. My wife is meticulous herself and could not find a fault with the work from Jerry and his team. This was one of the most positive experiences we have had with a contractor. "Gardens by the Yard worked with us every step of the way, offering design suggestions but never insisting; providing expertise when it came to finicky underground sprinkler systems as well as overall expertise as to what was recommended for sunny and shady areas; responding to last-minute calls for advice and guidance about watering, etc.; and just generally being available. They paid specific attention to our rather unusual request for moss beds. We would like to make a particular shout-out to the Gardens by the Yard crew. Every single member was wonderful to work with: knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and caring when it came to achieving what it was we were aiming for. They also interfaced very well with other contractors (stone masons, irrigation specialists, tree crews, land survey crews, etc.) In short, Gardens by the Yard knows how to achieve a great result and they did. We anticipate that the full impact of our project won't be known until Spring 2023, but we expect it to be a very good one."

"Eddie and his crew (Josh, Juilio, Steve, John.....) replaced our entire driveway. The driveway was over 40 years old and had a significant drainage issue. Eddie reviewed the driveway, very competitively priced the replacement and recommended a drainage fix that corrected a very difficult driveway design. Eddie was on site for the entire replacement, the removal of the old blacktop, undesirable sub base and some areas that needed sawcutting. Then his crew compacted the new base with an excellent crushed stone base, installed the new drainage 1,000 gallon precast concrete drywell with drainage pipe and expanded some areas of the existing driveway. Then the final install of the asphalt was liking watching an orchestra perform. The crew was amazing under Eddie's guidance, the attention to detail to each area of the driveway install was so satisfying to watch. The weather during the install was not perfect, but Eddie and his crew were never distracted to doing a perfect driveway install. I am a very satisfied customer with Eddie's communication from the quoting process to his communication for the after care of driveway. A high quality driveway by Pave Tech that I am confident will exceed industry standard and a great home value that is used everyday."
