"After 50-plus years of building houses, wooden boats, and Hollywood sets, among other pursuits, this is the last house I'll ever build. It's our retirement home, my wife and I, and I am so happy I found Sunlight Contractors. Now I didn't exactly stumble across Sunlight, I did my research. And if you're considering spray foam, I suggest you do your research of the pros and cons of both closed and open cell spray foam for your particular application. Secondly, research all of the spray foam contractors that you are considering. If you think spray foam insulation is right for you, make sure that the company and the installers are certified by the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) Professional Certification Program (PCP). This certification, as well as a Louisiana Contractor's license, and insurance, are an absolute must-have for anyone doing spray foam insulation. Sunlight's founder and owner Corey Yates has the certification, as well as certifications from the Building Performance Institute, and the North American Board of certified energy professionals. When I called Ira at Sunlight, he did not know I had done my homework and knew what was right for my application. I wanted to see if he would steer me towards a particular product or service. He did not. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and asked all the right questions. He agreed that closed cell foam was the right product for the vaulted ceiling and under the floor of my raised house. The walls, which I wanted to be vapor permeable, could be a candidate for open cell spray foam, but Ira told me a cheaper option might be a Batt product or blown-in cellulose. I really appreciated this, since it's exactly what I had in mind. I could do the work myself and save some money. I hired Sunlight on the spot. When the three-man crew came out to do the job, I was pleasantly surprised to find Corey Yates himself as the crew leader, personally handling the absolutely crucial heating and mixing of the two chemicals. The gentleman doing the actual spraying had 30 years experience doing just that. They quickly set up their equipment and then, even though I had already covered the doors, windows and floors to protect from over-spray and drips (and to save a few bucks), installed curtain walls to further contain the mess. Just four hours later, they were done. They cleaned up their mess, (they left my mess-can't blame them), I inspected the job and they were gone. All in all, one of the best experiences I've had with a sub-contractor in a long time. Hours later, after my third or fourth inspection of the job, I found a six- inch square bare patch under the house in a dark and obscured hard to reach corner. No big deal. A seven dollar can of foam from the big box store will take care of that. I couldn't be happier with Sunlight. They did a great job at a fair and reasonable price. Now I'm considering them for some of the other services they offer. Mark Heimann Builder PS: The day I posted this review, Ira called and said he would send a tech out the next morning to fix the six-inch spot they missed. And the tech came and did that the next morning!"

"Having A&H come out and completely redo our attic insulation and air conditioner ducts felt like Christmas! Dustin is so friendly and a great person to do business with. The amount of work they did on our home was incredible. The crew was very professional and they completed the work in less than two days! If you're looking for a one stop shop to show your home some TLC give Dustin a call! They are the best! Work done: cleaning, disinfecting, pest prevention of attic; removal of old insulation, re-insulating, removal and replacement of ducts, sealing holes in roof and under house for pest prevention, cutting trees away from roof, installing moisture barrier under house, and sealing pipes. They even fixed some holes in my awning over my back patio! I'll be grateful for this amazing job done for years and years to come!"

"Owner and installation crew were knowledgeable and on time with job."

"The provider came out and gave an estimate of the cost of the job.  In a very detailed way he explained the materials that were being used (type of insulation) and the entire procedure.  He briefed me on the estimated time of completion.
Alan explained the different types of turbine vents and helped me to make the best choice for my home.
The job was started and completed within the time frame given.  I was very pleased with this service and I would recommend this company to anyone.

"Other contractors wanted to remove much of the old siding and start with a clean slate. However, Steve did a good job in retro-fitting the replacement siding. He even worked to match the color and texture -- so the new siding would match the old. He was professional, prompt, and pleasant to work with. I would definitely hire him again. In fact, my mom is going to use him to replace her gutters."

"I had 25 LG solar panels installed by Sunpro this year and they did a fantastic job. The communication was great and the install crew was very professional. It's been awesome watching our electric bill go down!"
