Although my husband and I were here and watched them try really hard to located the bangning pipe, the pipes still seem to bang a lot. (My husband later did some further padding of pipes outside the wall near the hot water heater and that seemed to help a little) The drywall repair was fine,  but the paint job , left to a helper, had to be redone.

The attempt to fix the gap in the double doors by thick weatherstripping and lifting one door only made it impossible to open and close the door .  In order to open the door, my husband had to rip off most of the foam weatherstripping and to lock it again, he has to use something to lift the one door enough to get the  lock to line up with the latch .  We now believe that the cause is settling of the house and we will need new doors and new framing.  It would have been better if we had just been told "this is not fixable" instead of the attempt that cost us over $200 and made things worse

"It is very hard to get someone who is competent and willing to make relatively minor repairs. Mr Deering fit the bill. I had a sunroom storm door that was sticking and the door frame was no longer square. This alignment problem caused the door lock and latch to fail. The larger problem was that the people who had constructed the sunroom had not properly attached the framing for the sunroom to the existing house. Happy Home Repairs firmly reattached the sunroom to the house and was able to install a new door latch onto the existing door that had nonstandard latch cutouts ."

"I contacted Mr. Love on Friday at around noon. He was available and arrived an hour and a half later, as promised. He looked over the items needing repair for a while. He had to leave for parts and returned about 45 minutes later. After he returned, he did the repairs and was on his way within a couple hours. 

I had been dealing with the leaky tub for quite some time. It is such a HUGE relief to have it repaired! I literally almost cried once I realized it was fixed...really, really fixed! 

Mr. Love is knowledgeable, experienced and reliable. He was kind, professional and his prices are very reasonable. I most certainly will be contacting him in the future for more repairs/updates! I'm starting a list already...."
