I had what I considered a pretty serious roof leak over my garage.  I picked the Roof Repair Experts because of their great reviews and honestly, the $350 dollar roof leak repair deal made the choice easy.  I didn't have to have a quote done (which means take a day off of work) and then have another day off to do the repair.

Javier showed up in the morning and had a pretty good idea what was causing my leak.  He quickly removed a bunch of roof tiles, found the rotted out underlayment that was rotting b/c of my pine tree, replaced the underlayment, and sealed everything up better than new. 

He then proceeded to put all of my tiles back, sealing them so they didn't slide out, and even added sealer to the metal drain valley to ensure that no water went under the new underlayment. 

This was quality service.  I know they do A/C work too and you bet I'll call them in the fall when I plan to replace the second A/C unit in my house.

"Called to schedule 5 days ahead. Called again on day of service to indicate I was available.  Said he'd be there in 45 minutes, got there 10 minutes early.
Moved appliance to access duct work.  Thoroughly cleaned ductwork from dryer to venting system.  Then, cleared out venting system that was reachable from the laundry room.  Reattached and sealed dryer duckwork. Finally, cleaned floor behind appliance and returned to original position.
Got up on roof, cleaned venting system from the opposite side, removed two handfuls of lint.
Done in about 30 minutes.

"The hinge bolt on my gate broke when I opened it on a very windy day. I called a handyman that I've used before and he said he was very busy but would be out within the week.  The week came and went and he didn't show up. I contacted him again and he told me that he'd be out to my house within the next two days, and then would be going out of town for 10 days. He called on a Tuesday and told me he'd be at the house - never showed up.  I wasn't willing to wait for his return and possible future no show.  I called Silver Desert Handyman and the phone was answered by a very pleasant woman who told me that they could be there that day! I wasn't able to make that happen so we settled on the following day. She told me that Rudolf would call me to set up a time between 1:30 and 2:00 that afternoon. At 1:50 he called and we agreed on 4:00 the following day. Rudolf showed up on time, looked at the problem with the gate and told me he could fix it right away. I had checked around to get an idea of cost, his quote was lower than anything I had found! He had a helper with him and they began working. About 20 minutes later, he had repaired the broken side and wanted to show me that there was still a problem with the fit of the doors.  He explained how to fix it, quoted the cost and asked how I wanted to proceed. Even with this repair, the cost was less than I anticipated paying. They went straight to work- by now it was dark outside - and fixed the problem. The gate opens and closes smoother and easier than it has since we moved in to the house! I am VERY pleased with the entire experience and will absolutely call Silver Desert again when I have work that needs to be done.

"The person came on time and did the inspection.  He sealed around the roof vents Said he found something wrong with the flat root.  I indicated that the roof had been modified so that the water would drain.  He said they would submit a proposal and estimate for repair.  That was the last I heard from the company.  I have not approached them again.

"The patio roof had rotted in several places due to water buildup. The prior owner apparently put up the roof himself and it was not level. They removed corrugated steel and rotten plywood and facia board, and installed new materials along with a larger drip edge and seal to stop water from backing up. It was then painted and quite close to the original color. Lawrence and Brandon did a great job, they were neat, picked up, and there was not a single nail or screw left on the ground. I have since had this contractor back to do minor repairs outside and would definitely recommend them."
